A Georgia actress and star of a recent biopic about an anti-abortion activist says she is 'ecstatic' over the passing of the state's new 'heartbeat' anti-abortion bill.
Ashley Bratcher's stance is opposed by more than 50 Hollywood stars who have threatened to pull business in Georgia over the controversial law which would ban abortions when a fetal heartbeat can be detected – as early as six weeks.
Bratcher, who stars as activist Abby Johnson in 'Unplanned,' spoke of her joy for the bill's passing on Friday. MORE
Governor Brian Kemp must now make a decision by May 12 on whether to sign the bill into law amid intense activist pressure.
