Questions to The Plain Truth Today dot com!

Hi, this is Bob Barney for The Plain Truth Today Podcast and I want to go over some questions that I asked people to send into the PlainTruthToday@aol.com. Some of them are about the Bible, some are about politics, and some of them are just some general ideas. I may not have the right answer, or the answer at all, but I looked them over and think I do.

Question #1: The first one that came in was a good one: “Someone that I know that’s a Christian influencer said, I know it isn’t a popular thing, but we must stand with Israel because the Bible commands us to do so, is that true?”

Answer: I do not know where it is in the Bible that it says we must stand with Israel. Israel by the way is the true name of the tribe of Joseph, not of Judah. So, the name of the country of Israel today in the Middle East really should be named Judah. So, I guess we will have to find a verse in the Bible that says we must stand with Judah because if you really understand who Joseph is and the Lost Ten Tribes of the kingdom of the north that was taken into captivity by Assyria who is the modern-day Germans and then take us through the Caucuses Mountains, brought into western Europe. The nations of western Europe today are the descendants of the lost Ten Tribes. Denmark, the mark of Dan, England and America are the tribes of Joseph, and the name Israel belongs to them.

I don’t know a place in the Bible where we are told to stand with Israel or with Judah, if they are doing wrong. God seems to be pretty miffed at both of these countries…especially during the end times because neither of them seem to want to obey God and God’s Law. If someone can find a scripture where it says we have to defend the nation of Israel or Judah, please let me know, even if they are doing wrong. It seems that the prophets did nothing but condemn these two for their idol worship, easter for Israel, and a false Babylonian pagan calendar for Judah, modern day Israel. Most of the people living in Israel are not even religious, they are very liberal as jews and as secular as anything you would see here in America. So, some of the punishment that is happening in the modern state of Israel was prophesied by the prophets. That would happen to any of Gods people.

So, are the Jews God’s people? YES. Are they going to be saved by Jesus Christ’s return? Absolutely! But are they God people always and we are to watch over them and pray for them, YES. But are we to think of them as thoughtless and perfect people and we must stand with them, and that the Bible says to stand with them when the Bible says they are sinning against God and denying the existence of the true God? No. I don’t believe that.

That is one question that I believe is easily answered. I know nowhere in the Bible where we are to stand with Israel or Judah when they are an apostate people against the Word of God.

Just read the prophets. Start off with Isaiah, then Ezekiel chapter 8 for those of you that follow Easter, read Daniel although he technically is not a prophet, then Jeremiah, especially Jeremiah! Then there are the minor prophets.

2nd Question: The Mark of the Beast in Regard to Buying

Answer: Some people believe that a chip under the skin in order to buy and sell is what this is meaning. That in order to buy and sell, we have to get a chip. Other people believe that the Mark of the Beast is Sunday Worship and discarding and rejecting the Saturday Sabbath. “Can it be both scenarios”.

That is a really good question. I don’t believe that anyone has a provable answer to that. I have my own ideas. My brother, one of my two brothers, believes that the Mark of the Beast is a numbering system that you have to buy or sell, and put under your skin or in your eyes…some kind of a digital reading. I do know that Garner Ted Armstrong, believes that the Mark of the Beast was really Sunday Worship and that you had to choose. Garner had a good point that I have to admit in his view that it is something you can resist and something you do not have to do. That people who are true to God will REFUSE the Mark of the Beast. That it is something that essentially is not forced upon you against your will. Garner had a good argument there.

Then Garner goes back to the Old Testament, the Torah, the first five books of Mose, the Law part of the OT. We find there is a certain commandment which shows a mark Commandment. The reason why Israel, the Lost Ten Tribes, became lost in history even though they are very present today in very powerful nations (America, England, France…etc.), they got lost because there is an identity commandment. God says with the Sabbath Day that it is a mark upon your forehead and your arm by the way, that those who observe His Sabbath Days will be marked by Him and be found. The Jewish people, even with all of the evil that they have done against God as you read the prophets, you will see that the one thing that they did not do is lose their Sabbath day. The Lost Ten Tribes lost their identity in the Sabbath Day. Grant it, the Jews went to a Babylonian calendar and a night-to-night Sabbath which is incorrect as we prove HERE. But they did not lose the Sabbath Day and that is why JEws can be found to this very day, even secular Jews who do not believe in God, who do not go to Synagogue, who do not worship the Lord their God…like conservative or Orthodox Jews do, they all know what day the Sabbath day and what day the day of the Jews is.

The Jews have not lost their identity because they have kept the Sabbath whereas the Lost Ten Tribes have lost their identity because they in fact moved from a Saturday Sabbath worship to a Sunday one. The goddess’s son Mithra is the sun god and the roman god of the time. When Constantine who was a believer in the sun god Mithra, when he so called converted to Christianity forced the Christian church to adopt Sunday as the day of worship. Most people do not realize this but from the first 200 years after Christ left this earth and returned back to Have, the New Testament Church still followed the Saturday sabbath Day and the Holy Days. They did not follow Christian or Easter when Constantine got into power.

Garner Ted Armstrongs idea was that the Mark of the Beast was Sunday worship, and you could not buy or sell unless you received the mark and were a member of a Sunday keeping church. I am not sure if this is 100% accurate either. I am not sure I have the answer to this. I don’t know that it is necessarily a chip to buy or sell because I think there will always be an underground economy, that one can choose to be in or out of. When you have gold and silver, even digital currency means nothing. That is a question and an answer that will lead people to confusion, and I am sorry about that, but I do believe the Mark of the Beast is something that is a part of pagan Christian worship and not a part of those that are trying to please God.

You have to choose to reject God. His Sabbath Day. His Holy Days. His Laws before He is going to be a part of that Mark. Does it have something to do with having a social security card for example? People were against Social Security; did you know that? They said that that was a sign of the beast and a Mark of the Beast and someday have to use it for ID purposes and be used against us. Our government promised us that it would never be used as a form of identification and even made a law about that. Well, try to get an insurance form paid, try to go to a hospital, try to go to a doctor, and try to not give your social security number and see how far you get. There you go with the ss number not forcing you to prove your identity.

I encourage you to research this on your own and see where God leads you. I lean toward the idea that the mark of the beast is about those who follow Sunday worship, Christmas, Easter, etc…and that that means they are accepted by the establishment Christianity which once you are accepted in that, they want to deal with you, buy from you and interact with you because you are one of them. IF you have ever experienced radical Christianity which a lot of so called evangelical or “born again” Christan’s are radical in their ways as if you don’t see it their way it is their way or the highway you can see that it might lean toward a mark of buying or selling.

We also know in Revelation that the Antichrist comes in place of Christ. He even denounces Christ saying he is god and is against all other forms of God so it doesn’t sound like it is something to do with Sunday keeping Christians enforcing a Sunday worship as law. That is the story there.

Question #3: This is question I find quite fascinating with is a little bit off topic…this is from: “Former Worldwide Church of God Member”. He is a senior citizen and used to work for the publishing company that printed The Plain Truth magazine back in the 70s and 80s. He writes me from time to time. His question has nothing to do with religion. What are my views on the Green New Deal.

Answer: So, to all of the people talking about environmental protection, I find it fascinating that the same people that Donald Trump even pointed out yesterday, the same people who will put you in jail for touching an eagle’s nest, or egg, or killing an eagle, for five years, are the same people who want windmills which kill hundreds of eagles and birds every day. They even have been killing all of these whales off the coast of New Jersey. My brother Billy sent me a picture of a waste dump, a landfill in Wyoming that looks like hundreds of acres filled with one product that is taking up all of the landfills around the country…it is a really big problem because they cannot recycle this thing, they have to bury them because they are considered hazardous material…they are afraid we are going to run out of places to put our garbage…guess what that material is??? IT is the windmill rotors. You know, the 100 feet long blades of the windmills. They have a lifespan of about 4 or 5 years before they break, and they cannot do anything with them after they have become inoperable and cannot recycle them because they are made with hazardous resins mixed with fiber glass. There is NOTHING they can do to recycle them. So, they bury 10’s of thousands of blades a year in our landfills. IF you know anything about resins and fiber glass, it will take thousands of years to deteriorate. Here is a landfill burying them in Wyoming! This is a travesty.

We are destroying our environment with so called environmental protectionism.

It is like the EPA. It stands for Environmental Protection Agency, yet it is the largest polluter in the USA with the Colorado River scandal. Look it up. They caused more pollution in the Colorado River in one month than any other company that they fought against in the last 25 years. The EPA!

Whatever these liberals say they stand for, they really stand for the complete opposite! These windmills are a farce.

I told my wife that in 1963, I can remember in Connecticut where I lived, we would go to Torrington to visit my grandmothers’ relatives. It was a small city but a pretty populous city for CT at the time, there was a sign long before computers came about, “if you were to drive 25 miles an hour from this point onward you would never be stopped at a stop light”. You could go thru the entire town and never be stopped going 25MPH for sure, it was true. With all of the computers we have today, we cannot get all of the lights in sequence? Wouldn’t you want to stop spending your life at stop lights?

Today we had to travel to a place where every 3 or 4 minutes you are stopped at a stop light. About 15 years ago I did research for The Plain Truth when it was brand new, my other brother Vic had a theory that gas companies paid off town officials in order to make stop lights stop you in order to burn more gas…my brother was a conspiracy theorist type of a guy, and I did look into this for an article. I am not sure if we still have that publication anymore, but according to the government’s own records, 1/3 of all the gasoline gallons consumed in America are consumed at a stop light. ONE THIRD of the pollution that these liberals worry about are caused by the stop lights these liberals make sure don’t work in sequence. Maybe they are getting paid off by the gas companies.

Did you know that very few cities that have radar, bought that radar? When you get a speeding ticket from a town cop and has you on radar…do you think the town bought that? NO, your insurance company bought that for the town. Because they care about your safety? NO. It is because once you get a ticket, they raise your rate. The money they invested in your town in the radar came back 10-fold. So, I did look into all of this and found out that 1/3 of the gasoline used in America in 2009 burned and wasted, polluting the air, happened at a stoplight. You know as well as I know if you ever drive in city traffic that stop lights work against each other. Just experience Florida. If you stop at the light, they are about 5 minutes long. Within a quarter of a mile down the road is another stoplight…then another 5 minutes of your life is wasted, rinse and repeat. You then realize that you went two miles in 24 minutes. Most of your miles was consumed at a stop light.

Who knows, maybe the gas companies do this intentionally. Either way, I know the waste of fuel in this country is again because of regulations and because of people setting up rules and regulations. There is nothing in my estimation worse than the person who creates these regulations in government. Most people in government jobs have never run a business or worked a real job in their life. They get these jobs right after college or put in office because of connections…they really have no concept of what it means to be you and me.

If you tell me you are a liberal and tell me you care about the environment, you are a hypocrite because you don’t care about the eagles or the killer whales and other whales when the windmills kill them. You don’t care about the birds that are killed from the solar panels. In my county they are cutting down ten thousand acres of trees, renewable trees that make wood pulp, and replacing them with solar panels. I have said this a week ago in a broadcast, what are these solar panels doing? NOTHING. One solar panel can give the electricity for one home for one day. So, you have a farm of 100 thousand solar panels, and it can only take care of 100 thousand houses, that is it, it is a drop in the bucket. A nuclear plant can take care of a million houses and have no waste. But they have to go to landfills, these panels. They are full of all sorts of hazardous materials.

Question #4: This has to do with the red heifer. “Will they sacrifice the first red heifer?”

It turns out in 2024, some TX rancher found out that one of his newborn calves amongst his cattle was 100% red, no white hair at a ll. Considered to be suitable for a sin offering as found in the book of the Law of Moses and that people believe that the Jewish people were going to want this heifer this past Passover…not thinking this transpired because the last time the Jews and the Temple Mount Faithful tried to go through the Israeli guards to go up to the Temple Mount, being denied because the Muslims control this…think about that for a second, why is that so? That is for another time…but the question is will they sacrifice the first red heifer in some 2000 years. I am not sure if it happened or not but what does the red heifer signify?

In scripture the red heifer never had a yolk placed upon it…. its number was 19 and scripture said that the calf must be less than a year old and never have had a yolk placed on around its neck, no blemish nor one white or gray hair. It had to be entirely red haired. This represents as in any other sacrifice in the Old Testament, it represents Jesus Chris the Messiah. He was in the image of King David if you want to know what He looks like. He looks nothing like the effeminate long haired Jesus you are told. He did not have long hair; in fact, the Bible says it is a shame to have long hair unless he is a Nazarite. That was a special vow to take, that you would not cut your hair for a period of time or in Sampsons case, forever. This was a tribute to God.

Jesus was not a Nazarite; He was a Nazarene meaning He came from the town of Nazareth. He did not have long hair. In fact, He looked so ordinary as Garner Ted so aptly points out in his book The Real Jesus, that every day when He preached at the Temple, and went to arrest Him, they needed Judas to point Him out. They couldn’t remember what He looked like, that is how ordinary He looked like, a normal ordinary Jew of the day; they couldn’t pick Him out of a crowd. It took a conspirator Judas to pick Him out of the crowd for them, think about that. He had a trimmed beard, if that was in force at the time to have the dreads on the side, but He looked like a normal Jew of the time. One thing we do know is that he was ruddy as David was. He was a spitting image of his forefather David. Most likely He had red hair like Prince Harry. Well bathed, well-groomed well-dressed too. He did not stick out in the crowd.

That is what the red heifer stands for.

Now, in the very ultra conservative Orthodox Jews, they want to build a temple on the Temple Mount. I believe this. And the Bible says there will be a temple built again on this Mount. I keep saying that because of this we are not close at all to the end times because certain things have to happen first. There is not a temple there yet. There also has to be a defined King of the North, an antichrist coming out of Europe. Hasn’t happened yet. There has to be a single leader of the Muslim world from North Africa from the Middle East most likely Saudi Arabia, Iraq or Iran, called the King of the South where they will be under his control. Kadafi and Sadam Hussein wanted to be that. Even some of the Ayatollahs in Iran wanted to be that, but the King of the South has not appeared either.

Europe is in disarray and full of girly men as SNL used to call them. And so, Europe has not untied into that Holy Roman Empire revival beast government that tries to rule the world and guarantees Israel the Jewish state, their safety.

There is going to be a temple rebuilt and in order to dedicate the people who have been unclean for centuries they will have to burn, a holocaust, a whole burning with nothing left for anyone to consume, a red-haired heifer without any blemish. That is found in Numbers 19. Look that up as you will find out this is something that has to happen before the temple can be dedicated. It won’t happen in my o pinion until they are ready to lay a cornerstone at least or start a temple which doesn’t seem to be that close in the plans.

If there is a nuclear war in the Middle East and Israel feels threatened and they retaliate with all of their nuclear arsenal with Iraq or Iran and the Soviet Union even if they get involved, they may take the Temple Mount Mosque down and put the temple up. That would instantly fulfill that prophesy.

As a side note, in the 1967 war, when again Israel the Jewish state was attacked by all of the Arab neighbors around them and they were fighting for their lives, one of the Jewish generals decided he was going to destroy the Dome of the Rock, the Temple Mosque there named Al-Aqsa. If so, his idea was to destroy it so a Jewish Temple could be built there as he was sick and tired of the Muslim problem and was going to solve it by getting rid of the Dome of the Rock. Other Jewish people, leaders, military leaders and the Prime Minister at the time would not allow this to happen. So, it has been thought of before and maybe again it will be thought of in this manner.

But there will be a temple and red heifers without blemish that represents Jesus Christ, who covers our unrepentant sins just like the red heifer covers the people of Israel’s sins. One time at a time and not for all time. Jesus came, he was the red head without blemish that came and died in place of that red heifer. The Jews know they need a red heifer but do not realize that the red heifer is the same person they will mourn over according to their own Bible, the One whom they pierced.

The romans really did not kill Jesus. Pontious Pilot did not want to kill Jesus. It was the Pharisees and the leading temple priest and leaders of Israel, or Judah of the time that are really responsible for killing Christ. In fact, when Pilot said he found no harm in this man nor nothing He has done and let Him go, they replied, CRUCIFY HIM and let HIs blood be on our heads and our children’s heads. You think of this all-forgiving God like we are preached at in churches across the country, but God does hold you accountable.
