There is a lot of yammering all over the internet as to who is going to be chosen as the VP candidate for the Democrat Party. Who can Kamala pick as her VP? Can she pick Gavin Newsom? Can she pick Barack Obama? Who is even eligible to be the Vice President? Guess what? SHE CANNOT CHOOSE ANYONE TO BE…she can only nominate a person to potentially be. Kamala should she become the president due to Joe Biden having to be removed by the 25th Amendment, can only NOMINATE a VP… she cannot make a person her VP; it is both Houses within Congress that will decide by vote as to who the Vice President will be.

The primary purpose of even having a Vice President is for substitution purposes should the 25th Amendment be enacted on behalf of the President and said president be removed. The chances of getting a majority vote by November or even January is very slim. Keep in mind some more of the facts…in history, there have been 18 times in which we have had no Vice President in place and some of those instances were for a long while. It is not the end of the world if we do not have a VP…but let’s dig in and legally explore the possibilities for the veep.

Twelfth Amendment

The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;–the President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;–The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. [And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.–]The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves;

This means flat out that Kamala Harris as the sitting President cannot choose Gavin Newsom as her VP because they are both residents of California. IF she were to defy and force this for any reason, the ramifications are that with California being an Electoral Vote state, she would lose the presidency automatically as no president can acquire the power of the presidency without California’s electorate vote.

It is important to point out that we are supposed to have TWO ballots when we vote for the President. The second ballot is for the Vice President. Yes, we all are to be actively voting separately for the Vice President however, that part of the Constitution was not only railroaded by President Franklin D. Roosevelt during his run for an unprecedented third term but has remained to this day…uncontested. No political party nor any bit of the population has ever tried to get back to the way it was supposed to be.

We often speak on The Plain Truth how we are born into a ready-made world not knowing to a large degree why we do the things that we do. It can be very eye opening to learn the reasons why in regard to all sorts of practices, holidays, and habits we participate in, however there is absolutely no reason for Americans to continue the one ballot process as if a President has the right to choose for us who the VP will be. We just accept this two for one scenario and let it continue.

Unless this changes back to the way our Founding Father’s wanted elections to look like, our opinions matter not as to who the VP is.

But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

This means that Harris cannot choose Barack Obama because he cannot be acting president again so this should legally push him out as an option automatically.

Bob Barney has discussed this amendment many times in his 7:11 broadcasts in light of the possibility of Barack Obama weaseling his way into the VP position so he could run the show with Kamala as the front. The only way this would happen as he has stated, is if they stay true to form, running roughshod over any and every law intended to stop them and even with SCOTUS potentially allowing such a thing. You just really cannot discount the lawlessness that could abound in the upcoming weeks with the Democrat Party. They lie, they cheat, they steal and rinse and repeat this on the daily.

We the People have the power to hold all accountable to any malfeasance should it occur but now you know clearly what the 12th Amendment is in regard to the Vice President and how our government is supposed to act in accordance with the 12th Amendment.
