No one gives the complete story of this stone also known as the Stone of Scone. The Plain Truth is that this is Jacob’s actual pillow that he used when he had the “Stairway to Heaven” dream, and the very stone that he also poured oil on and set up as a pillar in the Book of Genesis. This is Biblical Prophecy being fulfilled and played out in our lifetime.

The Coronation of the King is approaching for all of Britain on May 6. April 29, we reported that the chair and the Stone of Destiny was enroute from Edinburgh to Westminster Abbey. The procession was led by the Lord Lyon King of Arms – the monarch’s representative in Scotland where it will soon be placed in the 700-year-old Coronation Chair for the enthronement of Charles.

“We’ve assembled a team that’s involved in the transportation and installation of the stone and as part of today’s events we were carrying it as a symbolic gesture through Edinburgh on its departure,” he said. The stone weighs 125kg but the team of six who carried it were lifting around 164kg given the equipment needed to transport it out of the Great Hall. The Coronation Chair was specially built with the stone underneath and getting it back in will be a challenge. “It’s extremely tight. In fact, it will not go in straight. It’s got bare millimeters to spare,” Mr. Muir said. The stone is more fragile than it appears after it was repaired in the 1950s, and HES experts built a 3D print of the stone and chair to better work out how to reunite them. Kathy Richmond, head of collections and applied conservation at HES, said: “We’ve been working together with the collections team at Westminster Abbey to make sure that that’s all done really carefully.

The earliest use of the stone and exactly how and when it became associated with king-making remains unknown, but legends around its origin strongly link it with kingship and the emergence of Scotland as a nation. The last Scottish King to be inaugurated using a Stone at Scone was John Balliol in 1292. Since then, it has been used by English monarchs, and then British ones when James VI of Scotland ascended to the English throne upon the death of Queen Elizabeth I in 1603. The last time it featured in a ceremony was for Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. ” ~ The DailyMail reports.

Reuters also reported this week, “Also known as the Stone of Destiny and regarded as a sacred, historic symbol of Scotland’s monarchy and nationhood, it is being moved from its permanent home at Edinburgh Castle for the first time in more than 25 years, Historic Environment Scotland (HES) said. HES, which looks after the stone – an oblong block of red sandstone, said it had worked with police and other agencies to ensure it “can be transported safely and securely”, saying it was being taken in a special carrier constructed largely from Scottish oak. That chair has since been used in the coronation ceremonies of English and British monarchs since Henry IV in 1399.”

Did you know that Saul, David, Solomon, and EVERY KING OF JUDAH also sat on this stone when coronated? Then Jeremiah took the stone to Ireland along with King’s daughter. Jeremiah 33:17. “For this is what the LORD says: David will have a descendant sitting on the throne of Israel forever.”     That is God’s truth right there as He does not lie. And that is why the stone is so important to us today. God made a promise to King David that He would always have an heir on the Throne of Israel!

It is fascinating to know that King Edward captured this ancient block of sandstone from the people of Scotland in 1296. He then commanded that a special coronation chair be built to enclose the stone. To understand the journey of this stone even before Edward is important to its significance. In Scotland around 840 AD, the 36th King of Dalriada named Kenneth I united the Scots and Pictish kingdoms and moved his capital to Scone, from western Scotland. The Stone of Destiny was moved there, too. All future Scottish kings would henceforth be enthroned on the Stone of Destiny atop Moot Hill at Scone Palace in Perthshire.

Unfortunately, even the British population today do not know about significance of the coronation chair and the Stone of Destiny. The Plain Truth is that our Almighty God is behind this chair and behind the monarchy in England. Later, it became the pedestal of the ark in the Temple. The stone was brought from Syria to Egypt by King Gathelus who then fled to Spain following the defeat of the Egyptian army. A descendant of Gathelus brought the stone to Ireland and was crowned on it as the King of Ireland; from Ireland, the stone moved with the invading Scots to Argyll in Scotland.

The British royal line is the continuation of the throne of King David of the ancient “United Kingdom” of Israel and Judah. An examination of the genealogies of those kings clearly shows their descent from that royal line. The Lord made a covenant with King David as mentioned above which was not conditional on David’s continued righteousness. The Lord stated:

I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
Thy seed will I establish forever and build up thy throne to all generations. . . .

His seed also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

If his children forsake my law and walk not in my judgments;
If they break my statutes and keep not my commandments;
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me.
It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. (Psalms 89:3-4, 20-37)

The Lord promised that David would rule as king over Israel forever. If his descendants became wicked, then they could bring calamity on themselves and their subjects, but the promise of their kingly line would continue. That’s an amazing prophecy. All it would take to break it is for the monarchy be overthrown or have no royal descendant who could inherit the throne.

The royal line from David to this present day continues and is unbroken!

Many people obviously do not believe in the Bible. To that end, many professing Christians even think that the Bible is not the literal word of God, but only man’s impression of God.  If anyone were to take the time to study the British Monarchy, they would see so much proof of the accuracy of the Bible and the prophecies of Scripture unfolding before their eyes. AND IN GREAT DETAIL!

“§LORD BRABAZON OF TARA rose to call attention to the historical associations of the Coronation Stone, to make a suggestion as to its disposal; and to move for Papers. The noble Lord said: I hope your Lordships will forgive me if, in these days of the dangerous present and of the forbidding future, I delay the House for a few moments in speaking about the past. To-day I have the privilege of being able to speak about a curious object —a stone; a stone of a strange shape, twenty-six inches by sixteen inches by ten-and-a-half inches; not a very valuable stone, made of what is called calcareous sandstone, to be found in most places in the world. It is the Stone of Destiny. Anybody might say at once, “Why speak about a stone because it is old? Are not all stones old?” Of course, that is true. But this one is so wrapped up with history and ceremonial and prophecy that it stands as something unique in the world.

§Scientists tell us that our earth has been existing for 2,000,000,000 years. What is interesting is how short a time in our history there has been any real record of that history. If we go back more than 2,000 or 3,000 years, we cannot get anything reliable about the history of man. We may believe that they happened to people not very different from ourselves, and that the impressions those people received were faith-fully recorded, and have been transmitted across the centuries with far more accuracy than many of the telegraphed accounts we read of the goings-on of to-day. … Let the men of science and of learning expand their knowledge and probe with their researches every detail of the records which have been 830preserved to us from these dim ages. All they will do is to fortify the grand simplicity and essential accuracy of the recorded truths which have lighted so far the pilgrimage of man. Of course, that is in reference to the Bible. The Stone of Destiny was even stolen at one point in 1950 by the sinister efforts of 4 nationalists to remove it entirely from future coronation ceremonies. It was recovered a year later, thankfully.

In summary, the Queen of England even knew the truth of Jacob’s Stone! Why do you think this has not been taught even as a fable and/or a fantastical themed movie?

The answer is that Satan does not want you to know why!

However, now you know The Plain Truth about Jacob’s Stone of Destiny and the Promise God made and kept and will continue to keep with the Royal Monarchy! This will be the stone that Jesus sits on when He returns to rule the universe! The Monarchy matters because of this very reason!
