In the news this week, Jake Lang, one of the political prisoners from January 6th who is facing twenty years on obstruction charges alone, has had a chance to speak out and share what the last 1000 days have been like incarcerated. He has experienced zero momentum in the form of due process to speak of and as you read about his experience here, if it doesn’t wake something up inside of you then hang in there, keep reading. I think it is a fine time to educate by dedicating a post to some of the political prisoners you may not know of.
I first would like to introduce you to a wonderful man named John Lamb. John has not been imprisoned himself, but he is the voice of so many that have been silenced and wrongly imprisoned. I don’t know anyone closer to the political prisoners that I am going to share about today, then John. He has dedicated a good portion of his adult life to raising awareness for those being persecuted by our government agencies by doing interviews, arranging commissaries, enrolling others to help the families in a vast number of ways and all of this is just barely scratching the surface of all that John does. He even has had the opportunity to befriend and interview Randy Weaver before Randy’s passing in 2022. Johns’ website and blog can be viewed, here. If God has put on your heart to help the political prisoners of today, please get in touch with John as you will be blessed in return.

You are about to learn some of the most heart-breaking stories of special people that John has helped people like me with a heart for the political prisoner, stay informed about.
Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.
Hebrews 13:3
Jerry DeLemus

In 2016 Jerry DeLemus was chosen by the Trump campaign to support Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention. He was a co-chair of Veterans for Trump in New Hampshire. His wife, state Rep. at the time, Susan DeLemus (R), also was an alternate delegate.
We could stop there and know the direction this went for Jerry having had a specific target on his back…but to continue, he unfortunately was arrested on federal charges related to the 2014 Bundy Ranch standoff and served close to 6 years in federal prison. You can read more about that, here. Man Indicted In Bundy Ranch Standoff Is Named Trump Alternate Delegate – TPM – Talking Points Memo.
Since his release, Jerry has taken to leadership as a grassroots conservative bringing back his Rochester 9/12 Project, “hoping to re-establish it as a must-stop on the campaign trail for right-leaning candidates”. Jerry states, “I’ve watched for quite a while the demise of our politics. Both sides of the aisle. It wasn’t just the Democrats; it was the Republicans, as well. My hope is, at least in New Hampshire, is to be able to clean some of that up and to help get some good candidates into office.” DeLemus relaunches political organization following release from prison (wmur.com)
Jerry is a patriot, a leader, a man who has served his country in many ways…what he has endured and his wife Susan, being without her husband, her rock, for that many years was gut wrenching for all of us in the know.
Joe Robertson
Joe was a navy veteran whose business supplied water trucks to Montana firefighters. He happened to dig a series of small ponds close to his home in 2013 and 2014 in a wooded area near a channel. He dug a foot wide and a foot deep, with two to three garden hoses’ worth of flow, according to court documents. The U.S. government prosecuted Robertson for digging in proximity to “navigable waters” without a permit, a violation of the Clean Water Act administered by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers. This Veteran Was Sent to Prison for Digging Ponds on His Property (dailysignal.com)

Unfortunately, a short time after his release at the age of 77, Joe passed away before his name was cleared, which it was, by Pacific Legal Foundation. A new Supreme Court case could finally end the EPA’s unlawful rule over innocent citizens–a victory for Joe and all Americans.
Jeffrey Weinhaus
This is a never-ending tearjerker for me personally. This is a quote from John Lambs Facebook post from 9-11-23.

11 years ago today, Jeff Weinhaus was shot four times by law enforcement, twice in the head and twice in the chest.
Jeff’s only crime was offending corrupt government officials, running for public office and openly carrying a legal firearm.
Public officials wanted Jeff dead; they were tired of him openly criticizing the corruption in Franklin County Missouri.
Missouri highway patrol called Jeff that day and asked him to meet them at an abandoned gas station. Jeff arrived and barely exited his vehicle when Missouri highway patrol officers fired their weapons, hitting jeff multiple times.
Jeff never pulled his gun and never threatened in any way. Jeff survived and was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on law enforcement.
The video and body cam footage of the incident was hidden from the jurors, Jeff was found guilty and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
The greatest threat of terrorism in the United States is not from outside but the American government itself, the corrupt justice system that sends thousands of innocent people to prison each year, and law enforcement agencies who get away with murdering thousands of innocent individuals.
Schaeffer Cox
This is a moment for us all to celebrate all that this man has endured as he was released in September of 2023 AFTER 12.5 UNECESSARY YEARS.
From John Lamb’s Facebook Page: Schaeffer Cox BREAKING NEWS Political prisoner Schaeffer Cox has been officially released from prison after 12 1/2 years of incarceration. On January 8, 2013, Cox was sentenced to 310 months, (nearly 26 years) in federal prison. He has been incarcerated in the CMU unit at the Federal Correctional Institution in Terre Haute. He was not scheduled for release until October 26, 2033, but won an appeal before a three-judge panel in the 9th circuit court of appeals, who agreed that in part the charges against him were unjust. Schaeffer, a political prisoner who has been held unjustly was in one of the world’s worst prisons; a CMU prison known as little Gitmo, after the Guantanamo Bay prison run by America in Cuba. There have been known acts of torture administered upon prisoners, even prisoners murdered by other prisoners and prison guards. CMU prisons monitor all communications between inmates and the outside world. Known as a Communications Management Unit (CMU), prisoners only get two 15-minute calls per week and are locked down 23 hours a day in solitary confinement. There are two known prisons like this in the US, one in Marion, Illinois and the other in Terra Haute, Indiana. These prisons are two of the most secret prisons in the world but are right here in America. Even though Schaeffer is out of federal prison, he has a huge challenge ahead; he’s a convicted felon, even though wrongfully. Parole or other restitution and rebuilding his life with family and friends is not going to be easy. But for now, our prayers have been answered: another political prisoner has been released.
I can say that from all that I have read about the men above, they have proven to be strong and courageous and to have people rally together to support them year after year has been a very special thing to be a part of albeit something so worthy of a heartache. To think that this is America, and this is all going on right before our very eyes if we just look. We are called to be as if we are in prison just like those who are mistreated. If you have a moment to lift these men in prayer that are still with us and in prison, please do, and what an important time to thank God for the freedom that we have right now. There is something very wrong going on and it is up to you and me to disinfect with light.
