A California church group desperately waiting for the US to evacuate them from Niger say they could be rescued tomorrow after furious members slammed the Biden administration for leaving them stranded.

Members of the Cornerstone Christian Center in Antioch had been scheduled to return to the US this week before a military coup on July 26 usurped Niger President Mohamed Bazoum and sparked chaos in the streets.
School principal Logan Heyer told DailyMail.com exclusively their hopes for rescue may finally be answered after the group received word they are ‘potentially’ flying home on Friday.
A State Department spokesperson told DailyMail.com: ‘Given that the borders and the airport remain closed and commercial flights to and from Niamey will reportedly be suspended until August 5, 2023, we are working to facilitate the departure of U.S. citizens from Niger.’
