Believe or not not, the Bible says so – and it will be a POPE that leads the charge!

JERUSALEM — A small but growing movement by Jewish activists demanding the right to pray at the site of their destroyed temple, in the heart of this disputed capital’s Old City, is creating a potentially explosive clash with the Muslim world, which considers the spot holy and bans Jews from public worship there.
Each week, hundreds of Jews ascend the creaky wooden ramp built above the Western Wall and enter what is often called the most contested real estate on Earth. Many then embark upon a game of hide-and-seek with their police escorts — whispering forbidden prayers while pretending to talk into cellphones, and getting in quick but banned bows by dropping coins and then bending to pick them up.

Several cycles of building and destruction have shaped what is on Jerusalem's Mount Moriah today. See the layout of the most contested real estate on Earth.
The scriptures teach that, seven years before Armageddon and the Second Coming, the Antichrist and the world community will confirm a covenant with Israel. This covenant will deal with the borders of the Holy Land, the status of Jerusalem and control of the Temple Mount.
The world community presented a peace plan called the Roadmap for Peace to Israel and the Palestinians in 2003. The Roadmap deals with the borders of the Holy Land, the status of Jerusalem and control of the Temple Mount. If the Roadmap for Peace is not the confirmation of the covenant, it certainly looks like it.
The Roadmap was stalled from 2003 to 2005.
