2:52 Now, today’s program is a little different because it’s not about God at all. It’s about the fate, or the state, I should say, of the American justice system. 

On December 17th was my wife and my 43rd wedding anniversary. If you read The Plain Truth, we had a tribute to ourselves on our special day. We had gone out to dinner, and we were driving through Smithfield, and we noticed this was probably the largest event of police action going on. We couldn’t figure out what it was all about. There were literally, I would say, 50 to 60 police vehicles on both sides of the road, in a corn lot or a farm field, surrounding someone’s house. There was a tented command center and there were blue lights flashing everywhere. I said to my wife, I wonder what this is all about…we tried to find news of it that night, and we didn’t see anything. It was clearly news that was held tight then lo and behold, we found out what had been going down.

If you’re reading The Plain Truth Message Board today, you’ll see the story, and it was entitled, FBI Seized Over 150 Pipe Bombs in Shocking Virginia Raid. This important finding made the Daily Mail and Town Hall. We covered the Town Hall story, but it made the Daily Mail, it made the UK Telegraph in London, it made the West Palm Beach Post, it made just about all news outlets.

 In a stunning development, the FBI seized more than a hundred and fifty pipe bombs during a raid in Virginia, uncovering a dangerous cache of weapons and explosives. The operation, which took place after weeks of investigation, highlights the growing concerns over domestic terrorism.

5:02 Is that kind of a buzzword for you? The concerns over domestic terrorism. Remember, Joe Biden said we’re more worried about domestic terrorism than we are ISIS, even after what happened in New Orleans recently. So that was a clue right there in the story. The operation took place after weeks of investigation, highlighting the growing concerns over domestic terrorism and illegal weapons manufacturing in the United States. Oh, I didn’t know it was illegal to manufacture a weapon in the United States. I thought you could make your own weapons. Authorities have not yet released details about the individual behind the stash bombs. I wonder why that is. The discovery has sparked an alarm that with law enforcement agencies stressing the seriousness of the threat posed by homemade explosives, this major bust underscores the ongoing risk to the public safety and the critical role of federal agencies in preventing catastrophic events.

I don’t know about you, before I continue reading this story, does it sound like an advertisement for the police and for the FBI and for government interference on Americans’ civil rights, maybe?

Does it sound like there’s maybe a little bit of wokeism in here and Democrat politics in here?

5:54 Going on with the story, according to a court filing, prosecutors revealed in a Monday motion that the explosives were discovered during a search of Brad Spafford’s Isle of Wight County farm, located just off of Norfolk, Virginia. Actually, it’s about 40 miles away from Norfolk, but I guess it would be the biggest city near it however, it is out in the countryside. Isle of Wight and Smithfield is a very quaint little community. It’s the home of Smithfield Foods, which is the biggest employer in the whole community, now owned by the Chinese, by the way. The actual Isle of Wight, it’s a kind of a funny story of a situation itself, because that county makes its money off of speeding tickets so that’s basically where all the money comes from, other than what Smithfield Food brings to that community. 

In fact, if you ever drive through a little Isle of Wight County courthouse area, and it’s only a little town of itself, in town there’s a post office that is about a size of a 20 by 30 barn. That’s the size of the post office. There is another building that looks like the largest high school you’ve ever seen in your life, yet I found this out by accident, it isn’t a high school at all. It is the court, the Isle of Wight County Courthouse for speeding tickets and it is massive. It probably, conservatively, is 80,000 square feet in this little Isle of Wight County, in this little town of Smithfield, in Windsor, and a few other little towns…making all of their money handing out speeding tickets.

That is the sole revenue source, other than Smithfield Foods. 

Talk about, you know, over-policing that town.

5:35 There’s a funny story there. I’m friends with somebody in politics there, and I won’t use their name, but he was talking about the Chinese people that came over to Smithfield to look at their new purchase of Smithfield Foods that they had bought out from the Lutter family. They asked a question, is there a lot of crime in Smithfield? The answer was no, there’s hardly any crime at all. They said, why would you ask that question? They replied, because I noticed all of the police cars, and there’s police cars everywhere which made me think that might mean there’s a lot of crime here. They said, oh no, that’s where they give out speeding tickets. And then the guy smiled after he’s told this, and he goes, oh, I understand. I understand.

Yeah, the Chinese understand all about government corruption. But anyway, going on from there, according to a court filing, prosecutors revealed Monday, in a Monday motion, that explosives discovered during the search of this farm noted they believed to be the largest number of finished explosive devices in FBI history. Man, this is big, right? Wait till you find out what this guy was arrested for. The FBI also discovered pipe bombs in a detached garage and in a backpack in his bedroom, which was labeled no lives matter, a reference to an extremist movement for known promoting violence.

The 36-year-old man allegedly used pictures of the outgoing Joe Biden for target practice.

6:25 So he took a picture of Joe Biden, put a little bullseye on him and shot at him for target practice. I guess that’s a big felony somehow. However, his defense lawyers and sisters, no evidence that he planned to commit any acts of violence, adding that he has never had a criminal record.

That speaks volumes to me.

  Let’s go on. Several additional pipe bombs were found in a backpack, completely unsecured, despite his wife and two young children living in the residence. Oh, he’s now endangering his children and his wife. Spafford was charged with the possession of a firearm violation of the National Firearms Act after prosecutors found a short, short, barreled shotgun. He had a sawed-off shotgun, which you have to register by law, which you shouldn’t have to, by the way. Anybody should be able to own a sawed-off shotgun however it is technically a crime if you have a shotgun under 16 inches, I believe is the barrel length.

This one, I think the record shows was 10 inches which you have to register that shotgun in order to legally possess it.

So he’s got this big cache of pipe bombs, or so they claim. This huge, the biggest explosive stockpile in the history of the FBI and they arrest him for what? Explosives? No, they arrest him for having an illegal sawed off shotgun. Think about that. Where is the charge? Now it does say numerous charges for the explosives are pending. Why didn’t they charge him for the explosives right away? Or maybe the story might shed some light upon that. Defense attorneys Lawrence Woodard and Jeffrey Swartz questioned whether the explosive devices were usable because, quote, professionally trained explosive technicians had to rig the devices in order to explode them, unquote. They argued there is no evidence that Smafford had threatened anyone and that the contention that people were in danger because of opposing political views that he has is nonsensical. The investigation against him began in 2023 after an informant told the authorities, the authorities, that Smafford was stockpiling weapons and ammunition.

Oh, it’s against the law to stockpile ammunition. Really? How many rounds? Hmm. Well, I have read in a different report that he had almost a thousand rounds of rifle shells.

7:01 A thousand rounds. I have news for you. If you do not shoot or do not have a gun or you don’t know anything about firearms, a thousand rounds are nothing. I know people that probably have 10, 15, 20,000 rounds of ammunition for their different guns. Just want to point that out. During an initial hearing on Tuesday, federal magistrate Judge Lawrence Leonard ruled that Smafford could be placed under house arrest at his mother’s home.

Here we have the largest ‘Unabomber’ in the history of the United States, and he’s arrested and he’s allowed out on bond under his mother’s reconnaissance. He’s free to walk out until the court date. That’s how dangerous this man is to society, according to the judge. However, he decided to keep him in detention while prosecutors presented additional arguments. So what the judge said, you don’t have a case here, I’m going to let him out on bail in his mother’s reconnaissance, but I’m going to hold him in jail until you can manufacture some more evidence for this guy to be charged with more serious crimes than having a shot off shotgun.

Think about this.

Now, The Plain Truth for many years has had numerous stories, both on the Message Board and also on the main page. I haven’t done any of the Plain Truth Today broadcasts about this, but for years now, we’ve had stories about the police state that’s been happening in America which includes police brutality in America, and the corruption of the police forces in America.

9:30 I have many friends who are former police people whom I’ve known over the years. Many of those friends have taken issue with me taking a stand against what I think about this police state in America. My thoughts are that they’re like the Gestapo. I know you keep hearing on Fox News and all these other news outlets that it’s not the FBI agents in the field that are the problem…that it is not the ATF agents in the field that are the problem either. No, it’s the hierarchy under Biden’s administration and Obama’s administration that put these people in charge that’s the problem. And that’s all nonsense. Do you remember when the ATF broke down the door after taping over the camera in Arkansas at the home of the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport’s executive director Bryan Malinowski? Yes, they did that because they wanted to make sure he didn’t know who was coming in the door…that it was the agents in the field, the ones that are not responsible. You know, the ones who are not at fault…in fact, they’re just really good patriotic Americans…that shot a man dead.

Do you remember there was a police officer in the Capitol of the United States, on January 6, 2021…it was a black police officer, not some executives put there by Biden or Nancy Pelosi, that shot an innocent woman to death? Ashli Babbitt was here name and she was someone who caused no harm to him or anyone else for that matter that day. She was not participating in any destructive behavior. She was entering the Capitol and some hundred feet or more away, this man took out his revolver and shot her dead.

What was the result?

He was giving a $200,000 payoff for shooting her because of his supposed mental problems that happened, PTSD type things of this terrible assault that she inflicted upon him.

10:45 When you listen to his actual radio call by trying to say she attacked him and he goes on and over and over again, you see that he was actually manufacturing the killing of her as self-defense, even though there was no self-defense involved. The man should be up on murder one charges. He should not have been given a $200,000 payoff by Nancy Pelosi’s and her Congress. That is what happened though and it seems that this is the man in the field. That wasn’t the director of the Capitol police. The FBI agents that knocked down this door, along with the Isla White Sheriff’s department, these were not the people that Obama and Biden put in power that’s knocking down the door of this man’s house. No, these are regular policemen, regular FBI agents. I think many are too willing and too eager to overuse their authority. I’ll just put it there. They’re too eager and too willing to take away people’s civil rights and to arrest people who do not deserve to be arrested.

We have literally dozens, I think hundreds, maybe a thousand January six people in prison. They’ve been arrested all the way up until last month. As far as I know by the leadership of the FBI, by the leadership of the Capitol police, no, by the agents and the policemen in the field who are more than willing to arrest people who did nothing to deserve it…the FBI arresting people who didn’t even show up at the Capitol on January six, 2021. Yet, they still found themselves arrested. They found themselves incarcerated.

12:05 They found that they had no rights under the Bill of Rights because of something called the Patriot Act, which I affectionately call the unpatriot act. Why? Because you are certainly not a Patriot. If you voted for it and many Republicans and many Democrats voted for every one of them deserve to be thrown in prison themselves and see what it’s like not to be given a lawyer and not to be allowed to defend themselves.

Something that you would expect in communist China or, or Soviet Union or modern-day Russia.

13:21 I think there’s more rights for people in Russia compared to what it seems like for these January six people. Now it’s turning out that most of the violence being done was probably done by FBI informants and FBI agents who had gone undercover in the crowd. They were inciting the crowd to riot and to enter the Capitol and to create crimes. They themselves probably were doing the crimes. More of this is going to come out with investigations later on.

Then you have people like Liz Cheney, who was just given the Medal of Freedom award! Someone who absolutely lied in her congressional investigations into January six for political reasons and for deep state reasons and for police state reasons.

14:01 My friends, we are in a time in this country where we have a police state. We have a state where there is not a true democracy and there are no freedoms for us as our Forefathers envisioned when they wrote the Constitution and enacted the Bill of Rights…all of those who started our government 250 years ago. In fact, the principle of you are innocent until you’re proven guilty is no longer the basis of government in the United States of America.

The law system in America now is basically that you are guilty unless you can come up with somehow proof that you’re innocent. That is the case with these January six people. These people were arrested. These people were put in jail. They were not allowed to see a lawyer. They have not had a day in court, most of them to this day. They have been denied their Constitutional rights for a Patriot Act, which is not even an amendment to our Constitution!

15:02 It’s illegal. It’s un-American.

…and it has been going on now for four years.

America has become a police state.

I’m sorry if you do not think so, but it’s the case. 

I know I have people tell me, I have friends of mine that tell me, and they were always former policemen. They’re not policemen today. And maybe they’d have a different idea if they were policemen that keep saying, well, you know, people who are getting in trouble usually cause themselves to be arrested. Well, that might have been the reason 25 years ago for the most part, but I do not think that’s the reason today. I think when the government has a problem with you, they find a crime for you. That is what Stalin did in the Soviet Union in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. That you find me the man and I’ll find you the crime is what the going scenario is in the American legal system today, especially at the federal level.

This scenario that is going on in Smithfield that I just read to you is just a further example of this big story, this big headline, the largest cache of pipe bombs ever found in the United States. Yeah right, and the man’s not even arrested for that. On top of that, his lawyer claims, and maybe his lawyer is lying but his lawyer claims that it took bomb experts to make them explode. Then it turns out this man has never been arrested. He has no criminal background whatsoever.

16:52 Yes, he’s probably a patriotic American who absolutely detests the communist who are in fact controlling this government today.

That’s what they are. They’re ungodly communists who want to kill you.

I keep having broadcasts to this day on the topic. I have many broadcasts that says your government hates you and your government wants to kill you. At least the Democrats and the Republican part of this government.

Hopefully when Donald Trump takes office, that will end.

18:50 I am not too sure it’s going to end before too many people are innocently arrested, thrown in jail, and don’t have the money to fight their way out into freedom. If you don’t have a lot of money, the justice system in America really doesn’t help you. This very government who hates your guts and who does want you dead if you’re not going to fall in line. They’re using the police force and the police forces, be it local, state, or federal police forces, to enact this murder by the government. It’s murder by association and by condemnation.

They say this about you, they associate you with this group, and then they say they have a right to kill you because you pulled a weapon on them when they broke down your door after they taped up your camera so you couldn’t figure out who was breaking down your door. We are in a day and age when home invasions are at an all-time high because our police force is too interested in arresting and terrorizing the parents who go to the school boards, calling them domestic terrorists, and they don’t even bother spending time protecting people’s homes, their properties, or their lives. Look at what happens in New York and Chicago, and even in LA. Look at all the rampant crimes, the illegal aliens being allowed to do anything they want to do and get away with it. Look at the story.

19:14 This is not America, but this is the America of the future.

It’s coming to America into the neighborhood near you. Look at the story we had up on Sunday on the main page of The Plain Truth. In England, 1,400 white women were raped by Pakistani men and no one was arrested. The women who complained and reported they were raped were themselves targeted by the police as being racist because they did not want to be raped by a Pakistani. It seems like in English law that if you’re a Pakistani or you’re a person of color, you have the right, you have the legal right in England to rape any white woman you want, and she has to not resist. Then if she does resist, she deserves whatever happens to her. If she turns to the police for help, they’re going to arrest her for being a racist. That is where we are today and if you don’t think so, just start reading the newspapers. You don’t even have to go to the Plain Truth. These stories we put on the Plain Truth are coming from the Daily Mail, from the London Times, the UK of London, etc. They’re coming from the Washington Post, the New York Times, the New York Post. These are mainstream newspapers that report this stuff. They might put it on page five or Page Six because they themselves are the problem. But the point is, it is being reported, and nobody believes it when you enlighten them to what is really going on.

I was talking to a person that came into my business. He was a salesperson selling me something and I was telling him the stuff that was on the Plain Truth. I was telling him what was on the Plain Truth, and I was reading him some of the stories. He thought it was all a bunch of Alex Jones stuff. That’s what he told me. That’s not true, is it? Isn’t that like what Alex Jones says? I said, no, this was from the Daily Mail. This was from the Times of London. This was from the Washington Post. I’m going story after story after story about police brutality, about the 1400 rapes in England that cannot be reported. If you report it, you could be arrested for being a racist because you resisted, and you’re upset you were raped by a Pakistani. That is the story. Read it for yourself. If you don’t have a problem with that, it’s going to come to your house next. It’s going to come to target your daughter, your wife, your husband, you name it. It’s coming to you.

It’s part of our daily life. I know a lot of people who live in Connecticut, where I’m from originally, who will no longer go to New York City at any time because they know they’re not safe in New York City. Now, when I was growing up, New York City was, especially as a young adult, when Rudy Giuliani became mayor, it was one of the safest places in America you could go to, as a city anyway. No city is safe compared to the country, but it was a very safe city.

We have completely followed Leviticus 26. Look that up and Deuteronomy 28 of your Bible. We have followed the curse of God for a nation who has become lawless. We worship lawlessness and we worship and give credence to lawless police people and give them cover and say, they’re not the problem, it’s their leaders. When they wholeheartedly, willingly knock down people’s doors and shoot them to death, shoot down people that enter the Capitol that are causing no harm to anyone or anything, whatsoever.

25:30 I thought the Capitol was the people’s house. But anyway, it’s time we do wake up in this country. I’m hoping that under the Trump administration, we are going to see with Pam Bondi and some other people, Kash Patel and the FBI, that we’re going to start having investigations of some of this stuff going on and this lawfare and this war on the American citizen. This is a real and legitimate war on the pro-American, pro-God, pro-Trump, pro-MAGA, pro-American war that this government has had on that person comes to an end. I hope this really does happen. I do also hope that the people who shoot down innocent people just because they’re wearing a badge have to face going to jail and that after a trial, they have to be tried by a jury of their peers They have the same right that everybody else should have, but they should have no better right. They don’t have a right to kill others that are innocent. It’s just, we need some type of retribution for what’s gone on. It’s not just the last four years…it is actually the last 34 years and that’s the plain truth. It’s gone on for a long time.

We have been seeing the militarization of our police forces for a long time now against just Joe public, Joe and Sue public, and not against criminals, illegal aliens, organized crime and stuff like that. We just haven’t seen that. We’ve really seen what we, what I think is going to happen in Smithfield.

27:21 I’ll give you my opinion about what’s going to happen. They’re going to come up with enough trumped-up charges against this guy and the jury’s always thinking that a guy, most of the time, and when you see the jury, they think the guy has to be guilty or he wouldn’t have been arrested in the first place. Unfortunately, most jurors and most smart people are not on juries. I hate to say this, they find a way out of it, but most jurors are quite unfamiliar with the court system. They are equally unfamiliar with how evil the prosecution is as it has been said by a good friend of mine, and I agree wholeheartedly. The two biggest liars in a court are the prosecutor and a cop. Anybody who’s ever seen any type of court appearance of a police officer, a coroner, or the prosecuting attorney, the last thing you ever get out of their testimony is anybody thinking they’re telling the truth and they care about justice, and they care about making sure a guilty person is found guilty and not an innocent person, because that’s not what happens. They lie, cheat, steal, whatever they got to do.

There is someone that I know in New Milford, Connecticut who was in jail for 33 years for a crime he didn’t do…actually he and his friend, and it was so easy to pin it on him. Our very famous medical examiner, Dr. Lee, of the OJ Simpson fame, lied, absolutely lied, and was proven, this is a proven fact, about the evidence that connected this person to a crime he did not commit. He lied, and it turns out now in court records he’s lied in over 200 cases that are being reviewed. People are being let out of jail in Connecticut based on Dr. Lee’s lies. He told the police what the police asked him to tell them. He proved people were guilty that were innocent, using phony science, fake science, you know, COVID-19 type science. It’s got to end, my friends. If we have any hope in this country of any freedom, any real freedom that our Forefathers gave us, and that our fathers and grandfathers and great-grandfathers died for us to keep, we need to do something.

29:00 Hopefully the Donald Trump administration will start it, but it depends on all of us to make sure we don’t just hero-worship any police person or any prosecutor or any government agency just because we think it’s a patriotic thing to do, because it’s not a patriotic thing to do. The truth, the plain truth, is what is a patriotic thing to do. If a cop is good and a cop deserves to be praised, let’s praise them, but if a cop is dirty or the prosecution attorney doesn’t care about justice, they need to have a retribution.

There has to become a reckoning. God requires it.

Read God’s word, and you will learn that He requires equal justice and justice for the poor, because the poor do not get justice today in our system.

This is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, with a little bit of a rant. I’m sorry, but this hit home because we actually saw the raid going on while coming back from our anniversary dinner, and after reading the story a couple weeks later, I was appalled to see that after this headline talked about this greatest pipe bomb builder in American history was arrested for having a sawed-off shotgun.
