I knew August was forecasted to be a big month on the celestial calendar, but it wasn’t until I heard about tomorrow’s “planet parade” that my interest was truly piqued.
Between the ongoing Perseid meteor shower (set to peak Aug. 12), a solar eclipse (also slated for Aug. 12), and now a literal party of planetary alignment (aka August’s “planet parade”) set to take over tomorrow’s skies, there’s never been a better time to be an avid skywatcher — or own a telescope.
