Hi, Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com. It’s Friday wrap-up after the Day of Atonement. Today, until tonight, you’re listening to this broadcast at the end ofthe Day of Atonement, when hopefully most of us could fast, or try to at least, and reminds us thatChrist is our only hope for the resurrection of the dead, for us to be born again from a grave, if we’re dead, or turned into spirit, if we’re living during the tribulation, just as Christ returns. And today is the end time of a very important holiday that the Christian Church should always remember, because Christ is not only our Passover, He is our Atonement for our sins.Any sin that you have done in your life is forgivable. Anything you do is forgivable. And Christ made it easy, it’s not hard.And that is to trust that Jesus Christ died for you, believe in it, admit your sin. I don’t care what you are, what you do, what you are doing. If you admit your sin, you are forgiven.But you have to try to obey the law that Christ established as God of the Old Testament. You’re not expected that you can fulfill that, however. You are expected to admit it, and admit your fault.Jesus gives the example of the two people praying at the temple. One is a self-righteous Pharisee, and the other is a sinning tax collector. And the tax collector cannot even raise his head to heaven as he’s praying at the temple and says, I am a sinner, forgive me.And the Pharisee says, I’m glad I’m not like that tax collector over there. I tithe, and I follow the law, and I do everything that is right, unlike that tax collector. And Jesus said it was the tax collector that went home justified with God and not the Pharisee.There is a symbolism there that you’re not supposed to be claiming to be perfect. Only Jesus Christ was perfect. Your job is to admit you’re not perfect, that God, Jesus God, is perfect, was perfect, and died for you.When you can admit your sin, it’s like an alcoholic. When you can admit you’re an alcoholic, then that’s the step of recovery. When you can admit that you’re a sinner, and you can’t help yourself, God will give you the help to overcome.Jesus has overcome your sin already. Ask for it. That’s what this day represented.And I just wanted to say that before I get into the rest of the program for the Friday wrap-up. And I hope you realize next, what is it, September the 30th is the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, which lasts for seven days. And there’s an eighth day called the Great Last Day.We’ll talk about that more next week. It starts next week, you know, just, what, five days from today. And we start the greatest joyful time in the Holy Calendar, in the seventh month, called the Feast of Tabernacles, when it symbolizes us living with Christ during the millennium, the thousand-year reign of Christ.And we’ll talk about that more next week. But I just wanted to start that before I get into the Friday wrap-up. The first thing I wanted to talk about, and it really interested me, and I’m going to play this recording, because I have to agree with Anthony Scaramucci in an interview with Andrew Cuomo, when he gives the reason why Donald Trump was elected, and I agree with everything he said, because Donald Trump was elected because the middle-class American worker has been forgotten by many presidents.

Anthony Scaramucci:  “And three presidents did three things that absolutely gave rise to Donald Trump. I think Donald Trump has failed the middle class in this administration. Unfortunately, he did not in his firstadministration, but he has this one.”But we cannot forget the errors of Bill Clinton, George Bush, and Barack Obama. I’m not even putting Joe Biden in here. I’m saying those three people set up the destruction of the middle class of America, which is the ethos of America.”It is what America is. It’s middle class who pays for everything, who works hard, plays by the rules, and has discovered in the last 35-40 years that by playing by the rules, you lose. And that is something that is very terrible for the state of this nation today.”And I’m afraid that this division in this country is leading to a great civil war and the destruction of this great country, and leading into the prophecy concerning this nation as becoming a slave state to other nations, especially that of Europe. What I’m going to play now is an interview that Scaramucci gave, and it was actually on MSNOW. He gave the same one to Chris Cuomo last night.”I couldn’t find the audio, but he gives three reasons for the rise of Donald Trump. And I agree with all three reasons. And let’s listen to this.”It’s about, I think, eight to 10 minutes. About the book and how we got here. The book is called All the Wrong Moves. And you kind of identify three big moments in recent American history that laid the groundwork for the rise of Donald Trump. Let’s start with the trade deal under Bill Clinton, and why you think that gave a passage to Trump. So, Willie, I think it’s important to set the scene for America, though.”America is winning. The Berlin Wall comes down. We’re about to unleash a peace dividend.”Dick Dorman and George Herbert Walker Bush and Joe would remember this. They come up with the PAYGO strategy, and they put some guardrails around the Congress. Dick Epcart votes for that budgetary control, and President Clinton adheres to it.”So now we’re getting to the point we’re going to run a budget surplus in the year 2000. Country’s very confident. Francis Fukuyama said it’s the end of history. And then that sets the scene for America. Well-intended people in both parties. It’s not a partisan diatribe.”This is about an economic and political observation of well-intended people, both parties makingdecisions, and they get an outcome different than they expect. And the trade deal with China, we gave them permanent status, but we thought they were going to open their market to us. And that was a colossal disaster for us. And by the way, I started the book by saying I was a Wall Street, you know, self-centered hotshot. Got it wrong. I thought we were going to have lower unit costs and we were going to open up U.S. companies to a 1.3 billion person market. China never did that. And if you look at the economic imbalances there, we lost a lot of jobs and we stagnated a lot of income. And that was a big catastrophic decision that struck a matchtowards this populism.”So we’re going to take a look at the two other catastrophic decisions, three different presidencies from two different parties. Why are you taking this look back? What are you hoping people will learn from it? So I’m hoping to look at it both from an economic and political point of view as objectively as possible, so that when people, when I travel or speak or do my podcast with Cady, people will invariably come up to me and say, what happened? Right. And I’m like, OK, what actually happened? So I took a year to study it. And I said there was a lot of things. But these three things set the country up for this populism.We ejected effectively about 30 percent of our fellow citizens from our social contract.”We more or less abandoned them as it related to a wage crisis. And then through the deficit spending, we inflated the currency. So if you’re people like my dad, you have no assets.”If you’re working with your time as a form of your labor to get compensation, and then you chop the money in half, you’re killing these people. Look at the affordability crisis and look at where median income is and reverse engineer into how people are missing dental appointments. They’re missing medical appointments.”They get a fender bender. They won’t go to the insurance adjuster. You got a lot of economic anxiety in a country where there were blue collar people like my family.”We grew up in a blue collar, economically aspirational world in the 70s and the 80s. We turn that into blue collar, desperational. And I think it’s important to understand the money side of this as well as everything else. And that’s why that’s why I tried to dive into it from that that piece of it. And make it to your point. Understand what happened, OK, rather than just be here smashing each other. And then maybe we can all take a step back and work on some solutions to fix it. Without the partisan rancor. So we should look at the next two.”They kind of will take him as one because they blend right one into the other. George Bush’s choice to wage war, the Iraq war, while cutting taxes explodes the deficit. And then immediately Barack Obama comes into office inheriting the mess left, but chooses the bank bailout, which, as you say, save Wall Street, the left millions of ordinary families behind.”And those two things combined create this real sense of sort of resentment and that the American dream was slipping away. And Trump took advantage of that. There’s no question.”So the deficit spending and again, just to frame it for everybody, we go from George Washingtonto the end of George Walker Bush’s term, seven trillion dollars of deficit spending in suing presidents, three of them, 33 trillion dollars of deficit spending from 2008. That’s because we got these lines wrong going into the Gulf War. And we played into what Bin Laden said we would do.”He would hit us. We would come and overreact. We would spill our blood and treasure.”The Cheney Bush team thought it was weeks or months and the wars would be culminated. It turned out there were multiple decades and it bled us out. And we and Joe will tell you this.”We took the budgetary controls, the pay go legislation. We unclip the Congress from that and the president right after 9-11. So that deficit spending leads us monetizing our debt.”Now you’re weakening wage growth. And then the bailout. And remember, guys, the government was going to buy the assets and put it on its balance sheet.”It was more efficient to give the money to the bank. So they did that. What did the banks do? Five thousand people got bonuses that year of one million dollars or more from government subsidized bailout. And that wickedly upset the other people. That’s how you got Occupy Wall Street. And then you got the Tea Party movement.”Those two got together and made a baby. They named the baby MAGA. And Donald Trump came in to become the godfather of that movement.”And he understood the movement, whether you like President Trump or you dislike him. He has a chip on his shoulder. We know that for 40 years, those people have a chip on their shoulder and they connected.”And of course, you know, you had, you know, and again, Democrats won’t like me saying this, but you didn’t let Joe Biden run in 16. OK, and and Secretary Clinton, very smart, capable person. But she didn’t campaign in Wisconsin when the Democrats needed her to do that.”They thought that was a blue wall. You remember the conversation about it being a blue wall? And it wasn’t a blue wall. He won Wisconsin.”He actually also won Michigan. And so and that is from these people saying I’ve had enough. You guys are not taking care of us.”You’ve left us out of this social contract. Now, the big problem is it’s 10 years have gone by. We’ve done nothing to help.”I know. Look at the American dream now. Joe, the wages are way, way down.”I was going to say it’s everything’s gotten worse. Everything’s gotten more expensive. Their lives have gotten so much harder.”The only thing I’ve got to say about 2016 is with Hillary losing, if only she had listened to J.D. Vance and all of his great instructions on how to beat the man that J.D. Called America’s Hitler. I just want to underline a few things that you said about about the deficit, because when I left Congress, we actually had one hundred and fifty five billion dollar surplus. And over the past twenty five years, we’ve had four different presidents that have just allowed the deficit to explode, the debt to explode.”Of course, Donald Trump who promised to pay off the deficit and the debt has caused America’s debt to explode high more and faster than any other president. I think he’s responsible. This one president’s responsible for one third of all of the debt that the United States is carrying around right now.”That is something that is going to weigh on this generation. That is something that’s going toweigh on future generations unless Republicans and Democrats get serious about it. And if theydon’t get serious about it, we’re going to have an economic meltdown that’s going to make 2008look like a spring picnic.”Listen, I know it’s fixable. I know it’s you don’t need a chainsaw. You don’t need those to fix it. You need to do what you guys were doing in the 90s. You need to grow the government at a slower pace and the overall GDP growth. But here’s the bad news for everybody. It’s a 15 year plan to get out of it. And the United States doesn’t think anymore in 15 year plans. We’ve got two minute plans. Okay, morsels. Instagram morsels. But if you had a bipartisan commitment to say, look, this is how we’re going to grow the budget.”Not going to go into austerity. We’re not going to flip the economy into a recession, but we’re just going to grow it slower than the GDP growth. This is a very vibrant, nearly plastic economy, and it’s growing way faster than Europe and other nations.”We can do this, but we need a long term plan. And Joe, you remember, you remember these budgetary controls that were put in place that were actually adhered to. And I’ll just remind everybody, the CBO estimated a $5 trillion surplus.”Joe’s talking about $155 billion, but they were estimating $200 to $300 billion a year. And they were going to be able to pay down the national debt by the end of 2010. Bush wanted to cut taxes.”Gore wanted to put it into infrastructure and education. Bush narrowly won. He cut the taxes, but he never restored the taxes going to war.”And you guys will remember this. And what can we do to sacrifice? Him and Shane, he said, let’s go shopping.”

And I want to finish a few more things that Sarah Mucci has to say.I’m not a big fan of his, by the way. Wall Street investor. He was part of the first Trump administration and didn’t last long.But a New Yorker like Trump and abuse, abrasive, I should say, like Trump. But I have to say thateverything going on here is accurate. What I wanted to also say before we play a little bit more of what he has to say about other topics here is Donald Trump is going to single-handedly be responsible, in my opinion, because of his arrogance and his, in my opinion, sticking his thumb up on his nose against God who put him there.God put Saul there too and he was sorry that he did so. You never forget that. But I predicted to my editor when this all started about a year and a half ago now, that this was going to destroy the progressive, I’m sorry, the populist movement to the progressive movement.And it was also going to destroy the Republican party before it was over with. And we were going to get full blown communism under the Democrats. And the Democrats are going to probably take the house for sure, maybe by a big wave.And then they’re going to take maybe the Senate. And then we’re going to start seeing the dismantling of everything. Donald Trump’s going to try to protect themselves with all these pardons of himself.You know, he made fun of the pardons that Joe Biden gave his son. Donald Trump’s going to do10 times more and Donald Trump’s going to do what Joe Biden never did. He’s going to pardon himself.And I believe that if he is found to be a criminal, that those pardons by the Supreme Court will be reversed. I do think so. I think I know a little bit about the law.I had a law professor once tell me in college, law is not very hard to figure out. American law is based on English law, which is based on common sense. I know a lot of lawyers try to tell you the law is not based on common sense and you need to go to them.But most of the time, law is based on common sense. Why Jerry Spence did such a great job as a lawyer and a prosecutor and never lost a case his whole life. If you ever saw him in action, he was a man of broad, common sense.But here’s another Scaramucci thing about what’s going on here under this Trump 2.0. That is very discouraging. It’s discouraging because it was a movement where he could have been a great president. He could have been as the first term, he could have been one of the greatest presidents of the 20th and the 21st century.And he’s going to go down as the worst president when this is all over with, because he is not following the law. He refuses to follow court orders. He has a he has a ice that shoots a person in the back who is here legally when and for no reason at all.They sideswipe his car. He’s driving for Uber. They shoot him in the back and they won’t even take him to the hospital.He’s in prison. And then ice says we will never apologize for anything we ever do. Look that statement up.We will never apologize. 72 percent of the American people who pay their salaries, 72 percent of the American people think that ice has gone overboard. And so what ice is telling you is they don’t work for you.They don’t work for 72 percent of America. They work for Donald Trump and themselves. That’s the arrogance that’s going to cost them this election.And it’s going to enslave America into communism. This is what Donald Trump has wrought on the American people. And if you’re a Donald Trump supporter, as I was, you’re going to see about a year or two from now how awful this administration ends up being for your personal life when the Democrats take control.And I believe they’re also going to take control of the White House in 28. And that’s just bad news. But let’s go on to some of these other quotes.

Anthony Scaramucci: 
“The Republicans of Mitt Romney and John McCain and the Republicans of Adam Kissinger and Paul Ryan and General John Kelly, they’re long gone from the port. There is no way and I repeat no way anybody’s saying no to him about anything inside the White House. Moreover, I’ll say something about Caroline Levitt.”She would have never let him do this. You don’t think so? I don’t because she was tough enough to go to the president on certain things and say, hey, that’s not a great idea. Let’s go in a different direction.””And when people say that to him in a certain way, he accepts it. But I think what happened is apparently someone gave him some of the videos that triggered him and then he impetuously did this. And that’s about the banning the White House press.””Well, actually banning CNN, MS Now and the rest of the White House press in unison boycotts. Now they will not cover the White House. And he is exactly right.”Caroline Levitt probably would not have allowed this. The other thing he said here, and remember, he’s known Donald Trump. He’s a New Yorker.”

Bob Barney:He’s known Donald Trump for 30 some years. The one thing he said there, I might want to playthis again. The one thing he said there that you really need to listen to, I’ll play it again, is about she stood up to him.And that is what happened in Trump 1.0. Donald Trump is a bully. And if you stand up to a bully, you want to know what? They will listen. And that is why Putin gets his way with Donald Trump.That’s why Xi Jinping gets their way with Donald Trump. That’s why Iran is winning this war. Because anybody stands up to a bully, wins.Because a bully is all bluster. That’s Donald Trump’s policy. But I want you to listen to this whole thing again.There is no way, and I repeat no way, anybody saying no to him about anything inside the White House. Moreover, I’ll say something about Caroline Levitt. She would have never let him do this.You don’t think so? I don’t. Because she was tough enough to go to the president on certainthings and say, hey, that’s not a great idea. Let’s go in a different direction.And when people say that to him in a certain way, he accepts it. But I think what happened is apparently someone gave him some of the videos that triggered him. And then he impetuously did this.It’s not good for him. And it’s created this Streisand effect. But the fact that he did it, he’s got everybody up in arms.And the lights and cameras will be back on like they were last week. And nothing will have been done other than more damage to the power structure inside the White House relative to the Constitution. Absolutely right.That is what’s going on. And I feel like, I’m not a prophet, don’t get me wrong with this statement, but I feel like the prophet Jeremiah, where he cries and is sad for the state of his country and for the state of the leadership. And he is tormented and tortured by the lawlessness that surrounded him and knowing the result of what Babylon was ready to do with his beloved city of Jerusalem and his beloved temple.And he was just absolutely devastated, giving the prophecies he did not want to do. Time and time again, when you read Jeremiah, God has to rebuke Jeremiah for being too caring. When God says, do not pray for these people.Do not listen to these people. I am going to utterly destroy these people, men, women, and children. And Jeremiah cries out for the people.And God will tell him time and time again in rebuke, I don’t want to hear what you have to say. Do my job. Tell the people what I tell you to tell them.By the way, that harsh, mean God was none other than the God that we know as Jesus Christ. And that’s something that a lot of Christians are going to have to wrap their brains around and try to figure out what that all means. Because the God speaking in the Old Testament is not some harsh father God.No, it’s Jesus Christ in his pre-human form. Got to wrap your brain around that one, because that is the God that is coming back after this tribulation to set things straight. It’s not a peacenik, loving God, forgiving everybody, like people think.It’s a God coming back with wrath and vengeance. And it is not going to be very pretty. I’m telling you that right now.Just be aware of that. Well, that’s the Atonement weekend Friday wrap up for September 25th, 2026. And I apologize really for the harsh reaction, but it needs to be harshly treated, because God is everywhere. And people do not realize this, who believe in this holy name stuff, include my oldest brother, tried to get, was falling into this trap.Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, never knew, and Noah, never knew the name of Jesus Christ. They never knew the name of the Lord, Yahweh, if that’s how it’s pronounced. We don’t even know how it’s pronounced.That was told to Moses. Moses was the first person to hear the real name, I am that I am, say that I am, ha-ha, ha-ya, really, has sent you. That was Christ’s name.Yahweh is the name of the family God. People don’t know that with these holy names. They also don’t know that in Revelation, Jesus says he’s coming back with a new name that no one knows.Well, if Abraham wasn’t privileged to know Jesus’ real name, then it must not be important, because Abraham is the most important person that ever is going to happen in your life, because everything and every blessing you have comes from Abraham’s obedience to God. Never forget that. Do not get into these, as Paul says, these stupid conversations that just lead people astray.Well, this weekend, we got two shows, always, on Saturday. The 7-Eleven morning show is acontinuation of what’s after the Feast of Tabernacles. I’m sorry, the Day of Atonement is the Feast of Tabernacles, and it goes through God’s plan.By September 30th is the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles. That starts next week, and we’ll have a lot of programs on the Feast of Tabernacles, as well as we will have day-by-day updates about the Feast of Tabernacles. It’s actually eight days.The Feast of Tabernacles is seven days, starting September 30th, ending October 6th, but then there’s an eighth day, which is called the Last Great Day, which symbolizes God returning to this earth, or God the Father coming for the first time to a new heaven and a new earth, and living amongst his people for the first time. If you understand God’s holidays, which I really ask people to listen to, you understand why Christmas, Easter, Halloween are so pagan holidays, and they absolutely corrupt your mind. This is Bob Barney.Oh, 7-Eleven p.m., we do have The Square Jungle. It’s another suspense movie, Tony Curtis, Pat Crowley. Pat Crowley was one of the prettiest actresses of the 1950s and 60s.Probably most people don’t know it, but when you see her, she was just a very beautiful woman, and she was in a lot of TV shows, and a lot of Perry Mason, you name it. She had her own show, Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, and she’s in a lot of movies. It’s a very suspenseful movie that’s called The Square Jungle, a 1955 suspense movie, and that is tomorrow night at 7-Eleven p.m. I don’t have a Sunday show yet, and, well, you’ll find out 7-Eleven a.m. Sunday morning, there will be a show up there.I hope, if I’m still alive and well, but until Monday, this is Bob Barney.
