The Week in Review with Bob Barney | October 25, 2026

Hi, this is Bob Burney for The Plain Truth today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com, and we’re going to do another Sunday edition of what’s going on in the last week, what we can look forward to next week, and I wanted to go over a few subjects that we were talking about over the week, and one of the things I wanted to get to again is the UFO subject, which I think it’s just simply not the case that is being tried to be made out with all of these releases. The last one we just put up was NASA astronaut cites biblical warning as proof that UFOs are demonic, and that is the actual plain truth about what most of the unexplained UFOs are. I’ve said before, most of the UFO claims are easily explained as experimental aircraft or misidentification of weather events, but there are demons, mainly demons are what people are seeing that they cannot explain.

These are not aliens from outer space, other than the aliens are being what there are is basically demons masquerading to get us to be afraid of what is coming, and I have a theory about that. It’s just a theory, but hear me out. I believe that when you go to the Bible and you go to Revelation, you will see that at the battle of Armageddon, you have opposing forces all surrounding Jerusalem to destroy the state of Israel, which is really the state of Judah, according to the Bible, and you have the king of the north versus the king of the south, and then a third entity comes, which is Russia, China, and probably Japan is that 200 million army from the east, and my contention there is that we are being led astray by the satanistic elements of our society to believe that when this happens, and Christ comes from the sky to bring on the millennium on the day he is arriving, and he’s coming plainly in sight in the atmosphere, that these opposing forces are actually, according to the Bible, going to unite.

They were fighting each other, but now they’re going to unite to stop this invading UFOs, and the people are going to be fooled in this world, thinking that the UFOs are a part of aliens invading the earth, and so the whole world will get together to try to oppose Christ, thinking that Christ is some alien UFO invasion, you know, like the twilight zone of what’s going on in this earth, and we’re gonna, not we, but the west, the king of the north, which is Europe, the king of the south, which is the Muslim nation that will form under a dictator, as well as this big 200 vast million army,really, that probably is going to be Russia, China, and Japan. Now let me explain something aboutRussia, because most people do not understand that the majority of the Russians are not whiteRussians, like what Putin is, or what the Ukrainians are, or what a lot of the eastern Russians are.About 90 percent of the Russian population are really oriental in race.

Like I said, most people don’t know that, and so it seems to me that before the end time, there will be a rebellion in Russia, where 90 percent of the population who has been basically put in slaveryby people like Putin, Khrushchev, and the communists of before, they’re going to take control of Russia, they’re going to align with China, but I honestly believe that at the very end time, Japan is going to re-militarize. I think we’re seeing that happening now, and what’s going to happen when they re-arm themselves, is they’re probably going to take over China, and this faction of Russia, and be the leaders of this invasion. It’ll be the Japanese.

Why do I say this? Well, I actually believe, and I think before me, Garner Ted Armstrong, in his broadcast, believed the same thing—I don’t want to talk for him, but I believe he did believe this—that World War II was like a forerunner of the end times, that there would be a Hitler-type uniting in Europe into an Axis-type power, but unlike World War II, this new beast of revelation, who will be the Antichrist and the False Prophet, which will be the Holy Roman Empire, and that’s what will be formed here, they are going to unite. Hitler was at war with the Catholic Church and the Vatican, but at the end times, I think we’re going to see a uniting of this into one power in Europe,and it will be a revised Holy Roman Empire that started under Charlemagne and went all the waythrough different phases of the Holy Roman Empire, ending, in my opinion, either with Napoleon,who crowned himself Holy Roman Emperor, or possibly even Hitler, if he was one of the revisedHoly Roman Emperors, but I think that at the end time, you’re going to see a King of the North, the Antichrist of the Bible, unite with the Holy Roman Empire’s Catholic Church and a Pope, who will be the False Prophet, and that will be the formation of the King of the North. Now, to the South, the King of the South is going to be a United States of Islam, from West Africa all the way through North Africa into the Middle East, as far as Afghanistan, probably.

There will become a dictator who will be called the King of the South that will unite all of those Muslim nations under his authority. I believe this will be based in Saudi Arabia, that the King of the South will not be Egyptian, will not be Iranian or Iraqi. I personally believe, no biblical proof here, but it will be a person who arises in Saudi Arabia.

When you think of the attacks of 9-11, for example, it wasn’t Afghanistan invading us or doing the damage to the World Trade Centers. It was Saudi Arabians. This government just has covered up the role of Saudi Arabia of the attacks on America over the last 35 years, just that simple.

Then there is going to be, according to the Bible, a vast army that enters into the Holy Land. The Euphrates River is going to dry up. That’s what it says in Revelation.

The Euphrates River is going to dry up, which allows this 200 million man army to invade the Holy Land, surround Jerusalem, fighting against both the King of the South and the King of the North. It’s going to be a world war, an atomic world war, where one-third of the population of the United States of America, of the world, basically are going to die during this time. That’s some two billion people.

But if you really study the prophecy, the four angels holding back this great tribulation are at the Euphrates River. It would appear to me, and I know many theologians agree with this, that these four angels are going to release their wrath. These angels, by the way, are demons.

They’re not angels as we know it. When you read the line in Revelation 9, you realize they aredemons that are given authority by God to hurt anyone, to kill anyone that does not have the mark of God on their hands or their forehead. I would assume that there will be a military strike with the EU shelling the Middle East, the King of the South, and destroying Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, nuclearly.

Maybe up to a billion Muslims are going to die in this exchange, and probably they will have nuclear weapons hitting Europe, and probably a lot of Europeans are going to die. Maybe the majority of the deaths that occur in this really quick war, atomic war, are going to mainly be people in Europe and in the Middle East. That explains to me what prophecy is telling you the end times are going to be.

The UFO thing, by the way, is just a simple way to get the world to prepare that aliens are invading us, to fool us, and to fool those who do not know better that the real invading army is Jesus Christ. Of course, the armies of this world will have no power to stop the return of Jesus Christ upon this earth. The millennium is going to be set up after a few months of fighting off these armies.

It does not happen right away. It is probably going to happen in the fall of the year, during the Feast of Trumpets, if anything else. That is the beginning of the end of the world domination of the King of the North, the King of the South, and all of the evil people, the satanic evil people that have brought misery to this planet for the past 5,000 years.

It is basically the same forces that were extant during the Babylonian, the Persian, Alexander the Great, the Roman Empire. All of these evil forces are going to be erased, killed, murdered by the coming Christ. I will be right back.

I believe that, so I can’t predict when this will happen. I just know it’s going to happen, and The Plain Truth.com and The Plain Truth today tries to bring you up on that message. And we’re back for the next subject I wanted to get into is a story we did about Christina Applegate on the message board where she found out after five years of thinking she had MS and finding out from her doctors that it was not MS at all.

It was something else, and she has no idea what that something else is. Now, Megyn Kelly on her program kind of blasted Christina Applegate, and I don’t think she was accurate in doing so, saying that the biggest problem that Applegate really has is she no longer can be the face of MS, and she’s like a Hollywood actress with a disease she can’t exploit for her own personal gain, and I do not believe that is the case at all. I believe, like most Americans, Christina Applegate believes her doctors, whatever they say, and what she doesn’t believe is that her doctors are lying about maybe the cause of her ailment, and it had nothing to do with MS. It might had to do with herproactive breast surgery.

She thought that if she had breast removal, that it would stop breast cancer. That put a big stress on her body, which probably made her prone to autoimmune issues because of what she did, but probably she took the COVID shot. I’m pretty positive I remember that, and the COVID shot, you know, you go to AI and you say, could the COVID shot be causing her problems, and it will say that has been debunked.

There is no such proof of that, but when you go further in the AI and say, well, didn’t the NIH explicitly say that the COVID shot has problems, and here is an article that I’m reading right now, overlapping clinical presentation of long COVID and the COVID-19 vaccine syndrome, and the background, it says this, that the COVID-19, also known as long-term COVID, and the COVID-19 vaccination syndrome may be a direct link in why some people have very bad reactions to the vaccine, and some of the things they showed is that the vaccinated report of people who had problems started having tinnitus, rash, flu-like symptoms, or even symptoms like MS, but not MS. I believe that is going to be the reason. I believe personally her doctors did not want to go there, and so she has been left in the dark. I feel sorry for her.

I feel sorry for all of those people who blindly took a DNA-altering vaccine. That’s what the mRNA stands for. It’s changing your DNA to make you so-called immune to this COVID virus, which again, I have talked about in the past.

I believe, and I think I’ve proven in the plain truth, if you go back and look at the stories I wrote back in 2019 and 2020, proving that most likely Israel biological labs invented COVID-19 as a biological weapon. It was shared with Canada and the United States. Fort Detrick, the biological lab for the American military, the army, and the CIA, you should say, they helped develop this COVID-19 virus as a bioweapon.

I believe they used Dr. Fossey. That’s why I don’t believe he’s ever going to be indicted because of what he knows. They used Dr. Fossey’s Wuhan lab to introduce this virus to China.

If you remember the battle in 2018 going on between the United States and China, it just seems to me that this was a biological attack on the Chinese people. When you look at the idea that COVID came from China and it was they who caused this whole thing, it doesn’t pass the smell test. Let me tell you why.

Because 10 times more Chinese died of COVID-19 than Americans, English, Israelites, and Western Europeans. It affected China much more drastically than the rest of the world, combined with maybe the possible exception of India and Africa. We have to look at who suffered the most from COVID-19 and actually which government agencies really did well because of the COVID-19.

When you think about the United States government, our government leaders used this epidemic, which it really was not an epidemic. We all know the stories now how so many people got killed in a car wreck, but they tested positive for COVID-19. Their official death was recorded as a COVID death.

It was all made up statistics, lying statistics. The United States government, the deep state as I like to call it, used COVID-19 in America to grab control. They did.

They forced vaccines. They forced people to wear masks. They forced people’s health to go down.

They lied about the vaccine that they created, which I don’t know if they intended the vaccine to go wrong, but if it did go wrong, and now they’re trying to cover up their part of it. Remember companies, independent corporations, Fortune 500 corporations mandated their employees to take a vaccine, which had a result on many people, especially those with autoimmune problems, to get all kinds of diseases and symptoms like MS, like other autoimmune. These companies are really vulnerable to lawsuits.

Maybe the vaccine companies are helped or protected by the United States government because there’s a law that you can’t sue a vaccine company, but these corporations who mandated their employees to take this vaccine, they may be open to all kinds of lawsuits in the future. That is basically something that I think the government now is trying to cover up. It’s very easy to blame China when most likely this government and the governments of the Western Hemisphere—England, Canada, Europe, and Israel—were really the cause of it.

Going back to Christina Applegate, it will be interesting if she comes up with the idea or someone convinces her, maybe your COVID shot was the reason for all of this. It started with her in 2021, so you got to ask yourself, what happened also in 2021? How many celebrities we know have come out with their problems after taking the shot? Now I have to say this one thing. A celebrity sayingthat the COVID shot caused this problem is like the third rail of modern politics.

In the past, when you talked about the third rail in politics, it was about those politicians who tried to fix Social Security by taking away benefits, and it was always labeled as the third rail. You touched that Social Security or Medicare thing, and you were out of office instantly. Well, today in Hollywood, the third rail, I think, for most Hollywood stars is if you start talking against the COVID vaccine or blaming your symptoms and your illnesses on COVID and the vaccine.

It’s like the third rail for them. They will never have a career in Hollywood. They will be banished.

They will be banished like they have the plague, and that is like what happened to Don Imus when he came against all vaccines in general, and all of a sudden he was off radio, and he was off Fox Business, the show that Maria took over. Now she’s gone for different reasons, but most people don’t even know this to this day. When Don Imus was fired from Fox News, and it really had to do with the anti-vax stand that he took, it was still the most popular show Fox Business News has ever had.

They’ve never had the audience that Don Imus had, and the same thing you can say about other things. Tucker Carlson, when he was with Fox News, I think he touched that third rail when he talked about the Kennedy assassination being the CIA and vaccines causing COVID and COVID-related problems. Within about three months of him starting this anti-vax and Kennedy conspiracy thing, he was off of Fox News.

I know so many people think it’s an innocent thing, where kids can dress up and make believe,and they can go door-to-door and say trick-or-treat. The entire reasoning behind that idea, that you either give me something or I will do a trick on you, is satanic in origin. There is nothing godly about Halloween.

Now one of the good things that’s happened in the last 45 years that I have learned the identity of Halloween and what it means, when I first was studying the paganism of Halloween, that really basically came from the Armstrongs and maybe the Jehovah Witnesses. Today, many mainstream Protestant churches now are touting the evils of Halloween, and they’re accurate. They might be wrong about Sunday worship and Christmas and Easter, but a lot of these Protestant churches have awakened to the evils of Halloween, and they talk against it.

It’s even like the Sabbath day. When I started following the Sabbath back in 1978, I was a very few in the minority of people who understood that God’s Sabbath laws of the Ten Commandments never changed. Today, any good search engine result or anything will, and many people today now know the truth about the Sabbath day.

When you think about it, you read more people today admitting that the Sabbath day is Saturdayand not Sunday. Even Charlie Kirk, who was murdered, started researching, and I don’t know if it was very popular when he did this, but even Charlie Kirk started following a Sabbath day, the Sabbath day, the Saturday Sabbath day, and realizing that the Christian world was misled by following Sunday. After his death, I think his organization that he started has kind of morphed into a regular Christian type Sunday keeping organization, but like I said, even Charlie Kirk brought the idea of the Sabbath to a whole new audience.

He had an audience like what Garner Ted had in the 1970s, but his audience was basically on young people, introducing them to the unique idea that God’s Sabbath laws still applied. But back to Halloween, this next coming Sabbath on the 31st of October, you’re going to see incidents where violence at many American cities occurs, children getting razor blades in their candies, all kinds of things, because what happened now is because of the devil’s pushing of a holiday that has nothing to do with Jesus Christ or God’s holidays, we’re going to be duped into, our children and many parents, into observing a day that they see is harmless and everything about it is not harmless. The violence, just the mayhem that always happens on Halloween Eve, the 31st night, very people just do not understand that when you take pagan holidays and try to Christianize it, God gets mad.

Ancient pagan Druid superstitions about death, Satan, wandering souls, wandering weird headless demons or jacks as they call them, black cats and witches and goblins, all of these things have to do with Satan’s demonic world. It’s just something that we’re just not supposed to be doing and introducing our children to it. It’s pure evil and it’s clear to me that when you’re following, you just go to the Encyclopedia Britannica, by the way, or any good search, like I said, and you can find out that this was an ancient pagan ritual, trying to ward away evil spirits with masks that they wore, pagan things of the past that for somehow an AI-inspired, modern, computer-aged world still finds time to follow and that should bother you.

We don’t have time to follow God’s holidays, do we? We don’t follow Passover unless you’re Jewish or maybe a few Christian churches, do we? You don’t follow the Feast of Tabernacles or you don’t follow the Day of Atonement or the Feast of Trumpets, the days that God tells us to worship. No, but we can, they’re old, they’re old-fashioned or they’re too Jewish. We don’t do that.

We’re modern. We don’t follow these ancient customs, you know, that you find in the Bible. Really? Then why are we following Christmas, which is the Roman Saturnalia? Why are we following Easter, which predates Christ by 2,000 years? The ancient pagans followed Astarte as their goddess, which in German became Esther, and in English became Easter, and that’s the origin of Easter.

Same thing with Halloween. It’s an old pagan holiday that this modern world somehow can adopt and still follow, even though anybody would, for any reason, reading the newspaper on Sunday, November 1st, or whenever November 1st falls, when this prays again, that Halloween is nothing but bad for cities, for buildings, for property, and for people’s minds. Allow the devil to come into your mind, and guess what? The devil’s going to move in there happily, and you’re going to be in misery because of it.

Well, this is another edition of the Sunday Plain Truth Show. I’m not going to do it every Sunday. We’ll still go back to a lot of Mark Halperin shows on Sunday, but I started this a couple of weeks ago when I couldn’t do the Friday wrap-up this week again, and like last week, I did do the Friday wrap-up, but I kind of like doing a different kind of Sunday show, going over the events of the week, or the future of the week, which we don’t do on a Friday wrap-up, and getting into more detail about why we do what we do, why the world is going through what it’s going through, and what it means to you, your friends, and your family, because ultimately, a good news organization, a good news site is really geared to you, what it means to you.

When you watch the weather, you’re not watching the weather to see what’s going to happen yesterday or last month. You’re watching the weather to see what’s going to happen today or tomorrow, the weekend. You want news of the future that affects you.
