Investigators discovered the wreck of the El Faro (inset) 15,000ft beneath the sea near The Bahamas last year, but this is the first time the wreckage has been pictured using an underwater drone. The pictures show the ship's badly damaged main hull (left) and deserted main deck (right). Workers from the National Transportation Safety Board had been conducting a weeks-long search for the upper decks of the vessel which separated during the sinking, and have now found one of them half a mile away. However, still missing is the main mast of the ship which houses the data recorder, including vital clues as to the last moments of the El Faro, it's crew, and why it sank.
