  Bob Barney Reflects on the Midterm Disaster- A look Back at The Plain Truth Today Predictions

And, you know, we all know what’s happened with this election. I think if you’ve been listening to this show for the last year, you were kind of prepared what happened last night.

There was only two surprises that I had. Believe it or not, there was only two surprises that I had. And surprise number one is that Susan Collins lost, because she’s probably the most distant from Donald Trump there is.

And she kind of has been liked by most of the Democrat people in Maine, as well as the Republican people in Maine, because she marches to her own tune. She’s had five successful elections. Her loss surprised me.

The other one that surprised me really was Al Sayed winning, because I really did not think that a state would go with a radical Muslim. And that’s what he is. He’s a plant in the jihad against America.

That’s what it’s going to be. And I didn’t think they would go that far. I have warned this audience for way over a year, and I’m going to start playing some of my programs going back more now than a year and a half, warning my audience what was going to happen and why it would happen if Donald Trump was to move off the reservation, allow his arrogance to get the better part of him.

And we would see a notion called cognitive dissonance. And I’m going to play a show I did on that. A study that I did, it was my paper, my thesis in college, which, like people, nations can never find a proper balance.

They swing from left to right. I always use the example, a nun, when she no longer believes in being a nun, she doesn’t become a married housewife. She becomes a whore.

That’s the opposite of what she was. And the whore becomes not a housewife, but she becomes the nun. People swing from left to right, and so do nations.

I had predicted every presidential race from 1976 all the way up to Barack Obama’s in 2008accurately. Now, knowing the way Democrats really steal elections, I’m wondering about that 2008 election. And maybe I was right there.

And I’m going to play this. And this is from January 26th of 2025. And President Trump just took office.

And I wanted to remind people that this could happen to this administration if he doesn’t change some of the things he was talking about after he was elected that I had problems with even as early as 2024, December. I was telling my editor that I’m afraid that Donald Trump is going to make some very miscalculations about this so-called mandate that he thought he won. And I’m going to play an early soundtrack that I did about that, too, to show you that I’ve been consistent.

But I have not only been consistent to my horn a little bit, I’ve been correctly consistent. Let’s listen to this show. Actually, January 26th of 2025.

And for years, I accurately predicted who was going to become president, and why. And the theory goes like this.

In cognitive dissonance, you have people who cannot find a balance in their life. And so this is why you see the nun become the prostitute, the prostitute becomes the nun, but none of them will become the married woman. So the pendulum swings from left to right, but it never stops in the middle.

And that is the premise of cognitive dissonance when it comes to people. But when it comes to nations, and that was my thesis, was that nations are like people, that they never can find a true harmonic balance to their lives or to the nation. And so you go from liberal government to radical right government to radical liberal government, and very rarely can they ever find a balance.

The 2024 election was a cognitive dissonance election if there ever was one. And that is, the American people were disgusted with the radicalization of the American government under the Joe Biden regime, to where the only things that mattered to America, according to these liberal Democrats, was what was best for trans, sexuals, for queers, for anything that was not normal. And we did this and spread this around the world, and people were justifiably horrified.

And so what they did is they wanted to put somebody in there that was going to stop the illegal immigration, that was going to stop the Chinese threat, that was going to stop all of this cultural warfare on the American public that we have witnessed these last four years. And so I was pretty positive. And if you listen to these broadcasts, you know, for a long time, I was really predicting that Trump was going to win in a pretty big landslide.

And frankly, he didn’t win in the biggest landslide that I thought he should have, because of the situation this country was in. That being said, I want to change direction now to the 2028 election, and the role of cognitive dissonance there, if Trump ends up going too far to the extreme, where the American people again feel uncomfortable, and they vote in a way and switch us back to what we just left. And that would be very bad for this country.

And it might even be worse than anything Donald Trump could do. Although in my opinion, and this is just a 7-Eleven short show, and I’m going to probably do some more. I’ve been a little bit under the weather.

As you can tell with my voice, I’ve had a little bit of a cold. But honestly, listening to the Donald Trump interview with Brett Baier on Fox News, he left me wondering really, where is he going in these next four years? He’s all over the place. And he’s all over the place in the not a very good way.

I mean, for example, he says that we’re going to be able to pay for all of his budget cuts and allthe cuts out of tariffs alone. And I do not think he understands what a trade war means. I thinkDonald Trump often starts talking about things that he does not have all the facts.

And that is what gets a lot of ammunition to his enemies, because they understand that. And believe me, the Democrats do know their enemies, just like the devil knows his. And let me give you some facts about a trade war with Canada.

70 to 75% of all of your uranium comes from Canada. The oil that Canada produces is a very heavy crude oil, unlike that in the rest of the world. But maybe what we don’t know, maybe what you didn’t know, and I didn’t know until over this weekend, 75% of all American refineries can only refine Canadian oil into gasoline.

And if they don’t have Canadian oil, they cannot be retrofitted to burn Texas light crude or NorthAtlantic oil or even Saudi Arabian oil. And I don’t think maybe Donald Trump knows that. That if we were to have a boycott, if Canada goes to trade war with us, and we decide that we can’t get their oil, or they decide they’re not going to sell us their oil, they’re going to sell it to China instead, our gasoline would be in such short supply, we’d have long lines, like we did in 1974.

In 1979, I think it was the last time that was big, long lines, where you would have rationing of gas, and you would have an election result in 28. If this was to happen, that would absolutely put the Democrats back control of everything, and the United States would go down the tubes. This administration has to succeed for us little guys out there, or little girls out there, to succeed in life.

America needs a sane and not an arrogant Donald Trump. But what we are seeing here in some of these rants of his lately, is an unhinged Donald Trump. And this may be a part of a strategy, I hope it is, but the strategy is backfiring.

You have the average Canadian that was so pro Donald Trump before the election, they feel betrayed. They feel that they’re not the enemy of America, as Donald Trump has made them. They thought China was the enemy.

They thought Mexico was the enemy. They did not expect this idea they’re going to become the 51st state. Guess what? They don’t want to become the 51st state.

And neither do we want them to be the 51st state. The idea is just nonsense. And if this is a bargaining tool, he has just turned off every Canadian that used to like the guy.

The man needs to get someone around him that’s going to tell him what is the plain truth, and not what he wants to hear. Because God hates arrogance. God hates arrogance.

You’re gonna hear enough. I listened last night to people who just constantly hero-worship Donald Trump until last night, and all of a sudden, they’re saying, this mistake he made, that mistake he made, and you’re gonna see a lot of rats running off the ships. Next thing I’m gonna play to you is about Trump’s arrogance, that I predicted that there was a problem with way back, again, in January of 2025.

He was not even president for a week. I call the episode Pride Precedes a Disaster. Here it is.

Hi, Bob Barney here with The Plain Truth today. Watching the media on television has become very discouraging, especially after the election. After the election, we have gone from a mediathat had some truth found somewhere in their broadcast to where, if it’s Fox News or Newsmax or AON, OAN, I guess, you knew it was gonna be somewhat pro-Trump, but they could find some warts on Donald Trump.

Today, when you listen to those three networks, it’s almost absurd to listen to them. It sounds like you’re listening to a bunch of propagandists trying to con you into believing that Donald Trump is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to America, greater than everything in the past, and will somehow, like a messiah, be able to correct all the ills of America within a couple of weeks’ time. I’m gonna pause one second.

I’m gonna finish that part of the program as well. Last night, I’m going through Newsmax. I’m going through Steve Bannon’s channel, Real American Voice.

I want to hear that side as well as OAN. This idiot on OAN was blaming Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly for the big defeat of Republicans across the land because they turned on Donald Trump. How dare they turn on our messiah, is basically what he was saying.

The guy didn’t have a clue why anybody would listen to an idiot that would say something like that, when the only reason Republicans lost yesterday, only one reason, Donald Trump. Donald Trump’s arrogance, his arrogance against God, because I do believe God saved his life and made him president, show after show, comparing him to King Saul, when God said, I’m sorry I made King Saul king. Not only his arrogance, he’s also surrounding himself with yes people who just fed an ego, and God hates arrogance.

He hates big egos. I’m gonna continue this now about pride precedes a disaster, because last night, or two nights ago, was a disaster, and pride is the real reason. Donald Trump is 100% to blame.

Not Tucker Carlson, not the liberal media, not the Democrats, not bad Republicans, Donald Trump. Donald Trump is who picked Ken Paxton over a senator he didn’t like, that would have won hands down. Donald Trump didn’t go with Ralph Norman in South Carolina, who would have won hands down.

No, he had to go with Graham’s sister, who didn’t even want the job. Time and time again, Donald Trump picks candidates that he thinks is going to be only loyal to him. He doesn’t care if these candidates are loyal to you or me, or this country.

He only cares if they’re loyal to him, like he’s some kind of an emperor. Well, he’s an emperor without any clothes today. Let’s go on.

And all of the evidence is showing that we are in the very early stages of a failed administration. Again, I know I’m going to get a lot of letters about this, and people are going to say, again, this was a year and a half ago, my friends. This is not something Johnny Kim lately, you can go back in the archives and find this.

I said, within two weeks of him being in office, when I saw all those billionaires surrounding the White House desk, my wife did not want to hear what I had to say. I said, this is not Donald Trump 1.0. We got a problem coming. And I knew it then, this is an old show, and I have been proven 100% accurate, 100% accurate.

God didn’t tell me this. It was just common sense. But too many people put their brains up on a shelf somewhere and don’t use their common sense.

The American people, if you understand cognitive dissonance, you understand human nature, you can figure out how elections are going to go. And this administration was inept, and it is still inept. I knew he was anti-Trump.

I am not. I voted for Trump in 2016. I voted for Trump in 2020.

I voted for Trump in 2024. I know my business that I have made it under Donald Trump and almost lost it under Joe Biden. So I understand.

But what I don’t think people listening to me understand is we are invested in a Donald Trump that’s going to bring in success, sanity, and good government, and not a war with Canada, for example, or a war with people we don’t need to go to war with, or saying you’re going to own Gaza, that you’re so great that you can do what God predicts in his Bible is never going to happen. The first article I ever wrote for ThePlainTruth.com was why the Middle East is always going to be in your future. And whenever you hear the term there’s going to be peace in the Middle East soon, then you know a war is going to break out.

And when I heard the other week Donald Trump saying how America was going to own Gaza and be in charge of everything to do with Gaza, I saw the mistake that Ronald Reagan made when he put Marines in Beirut all over again. But Donald Trump doesn’t seem to learn from history. I am a history major and I understand what history means, and history requires us to learn from it, or we repeat the mistakes.

When Donald Trump said what he did about Gaza, he turned every pro-Western Arab nation, Muslim nation, against us. Because it’s like I heard someone say on TV that when you and your sister are having a fight and your father comes down and breaks it up and beats up both of you, you know, verbally, your common enemy no longer is your sister or your brother or whatever it is. Your common enemy becomes your father because he got in the middle.

And Donald Trump putting himself in the middle of the Israeli-Arab conflict is not going to win him any friends with the Arab world. And I’m not saying you’re ever going to really have friends there, and I’m not saying you can’t get tough there because I have been calling for us to annihilate Hezbollah, to annihilate Hamas, but to do so through Israel, through the support of Israel, not America taking the forefront and owning it. Because that is the talk of a man that has started to get a biblical-type arrogance, like Nebuchadnezzar, who, you got to read the story about Nebuchadnezzar.

Maybe we’ll do a whole big show on Nebuchadnezzar, how his arrogance, how he stands over after being shown the power of God when he tried to kill Daniel in the, I’m sorry, Daniel’s friends in the fiery furnace. He stands over his kingdom and he looks around himself and he keeps saying, how great I am. I’m the greatest person in the world.

There’s no God greater than me. I’m better than any God of the Hebrews or anybody. And what happens, God talks to him from heaven and says, you are going to, for seven years, be thrown from your capital.

You’re going to be thrown from your kingdom, and you’re going to eat grass like a cow, and you’re going to live like a madman in the wilderness. And that’s what happened to Nebuchadnezzar for seven years, until he got his senses and God replaced him or put him back in power again after he confessed to God that God was the king of the universe. Never be more arrogant than God.

And we’re back, and I’m going to finish up this one program here. Was a great president, and still can be a great president. We need a Donald Trump with a rational mind, and not one that so arrogantly thinks he can solve every problem in the world, and that the world loves him.

The people he has surrounded himself, these big high-tech billionaires, hate his guts, and will do anything they can do to make money, and to rip you and I off. And if Donald Trump’s the avenue, they can do it. They’ll do it, and the minute they turn on him, they will turn on him and bury him.

This is the people he has surrounded himself with, and he needs to have people that he can listen to, common people, again, that he used to listen to, let him know he’s going down the wrong road, and America cannot afford to go back to democratic rule. If we go back to democratic rule in 26 in the House, and 28 in the House, Senate, and the presidency, America is destroyed, we will be in captivity, and then the countdown to Armageddon begins. And that is the plain truth, and I’m sorry it bothers everybody that’s listening, but it’s the plain truth.

And that is the plain truth. We saw what I predicted, and I predicted this not gleefully a year and a half ago, that if Donald Trump did not change his policies, we would see what happened last night. The Democrats would take control of the House, and I didn’t expect it, I kind of hoped it wouldn’t be the case, though in my back of my mind, I thought it could happen, especially in the last six weeks.

Take control of the House and the Senate, and they are going to be unwilling to relinquish that control once they get it. I always give the example of unions. You can have 20 years worth of every year you vote for a union, if you want it or not, and every year you vote against it, you don’t get a union, but the next year you vote again, and the next year you vote again.

But the year that you vote for the union, there is never a vote again, because once the communists take over, they don’t give up. They use democracy, they use the Constitution of the United States to gain power, but once they gain power, then they do away with that same Constitution that could take that power away from them. And Donald Trump is the reason we have this today.

Don’t blame Tucker Carlson, don’t blame Bob Barney because he gave you the bad news a year and a half ago. Blame the man who caused his own destruction. And personally, I’m done with him.

I’m done with him because he’s done more harm to this country than Jimmy Carter did. He’s done more harm to this country than Joe Biden did. He’s done more harm to this country than Barack Obama did, and that is because people, good people, have been snickered and snookered, I should say, not snickered, and trusted in this man, put their effort into this man, and there are tens of millions of people who never voted in an election before, but voted for Donald Trump in 2016, 2024, and 2020, that will never again vote, never again vote, and that is sad because when you don’t vote, the devil’s voting for you.

And I want to get into this one last thing and finish up this show. We’re going to have about five or six shows on this because I have a lot that I’ve talked about in the last three years, especially the last two years, about Donald Trump and what he could be and what I was afraid he was going to be doing, and the real answer to all of our money woes, and it doesn’t lie with taxes, and it doesn’t lie with the IRS, and it doesn’t lie with AI, but we’ll get into it at a different time, but I wanted to get on to one other program that I have time for before the end of this show. This show was when I did, I think it was one of the first ones when mega people went against Donald Trump a little bit, and then Donald Trump came for them, and was against allowing visas for mainly Indian and Pakistanis coming to America to run tech companies or to be programmers, and everybody said, we have to hire Americans first, we have to hire Americans first, and I said at the time, I’m an employer, there’s certain jobs Americans will not and cannot do.

We don’t have the education system in this country. We have the worst education system in the entire world. Africa puts out smarter students out of a school than American schools do, and we don’t have schools that teach people computer science.

We don’t have schools that teach people how to program, but India does, Pakistan does, and this is a program I did early January 2025. Hi, it’s Bob Barney with a 7-Eleven short, and this one’s a real quick one about Donald Trump, the visa situation, and Elon Musk, and over the weekend, of course, a great schism broke out with mega followers, and you know, I’ve written articles about many mega followers I call ever-Trumpers are sometimes worse than the never-Trumpers because they think they know everything. Most of these people do not even know their history.

These visas are not the same thing as Americans running, I’m sorry, illegal aliens running over the American border in droves without us not knowing a thing about them, if they’re criminals or anything of the sort. Musk made a post that the H, I think it’s called H-1B visas be continued and not be a part of the deportation program or cause it to cease, and what many people don’t understand and don’t know their history is these type of people are those people that have special skills. We have many doctors over here from Pakistan and from overseas that are absolute great doctors, and because the American Medical Association limits the amount of doctors that can actually go out of medical school, people don’t know that, that we have a doctor shortage in America, and we need these these people from overseas if they can pass all the tests, and they tend to be very good at what they do.

Also, we were put on the moon by a former Nazi missile rocket scientist, Wernher von Braun.When the war came to an end, we raced to get him away from the Russians to make sure the Russians did not get him because they knew, the Americans that is, that this man could put us in outer space and someday put us into other planets or the moon or whatever, and that’s exactly what he did. Americans did not put us on the moon.

It was the brains of Wernher von Braun, and the problem with some of these MAGA people is they are just simply not willing to understand. They are not the majority of America. Now I support, just to want to say something, I support a moratorium on all immigration for a year or two until we get our hands around this.

This happened before in history, back I believe in the 1920s, and I’ll give you a little primer. Migration, unbridled migration started in America in the 1840s when the Irish, the Catholic Irish immigrants after the potato famine in Ireland, came to America in droves, and they really could not assimilate. This was a WASP, an Anglo-Saxon Protestant, white Anglo-Saxon Protestant country, and Catholics were not welcome in many places.

Catholics were outlawed even in New England after the Constitution was signed, believe it or not, and so they did not assimilate very well, and they ended up mainly as people in the military. Most of your soldiers that died, for example, with a little bighorn were George Custer. They were Irish Americans and immigrants, by the way, and they were drunken brawler fighters, and they were many towns out west would not allow the local soldiers from the local fort to go into town on a Saturday night and go to their saloons because they were always troublemakers, and they were always in fights.

And then the next great wave of immigration that really changed America was in the 1880s to the 1920s when the great Italian immigration occurred where tens of millions of Italian immigrants flooded into the American borders, and they did not, like the Irish, they did not even want to assimilate at first. And that’s where I’m going to break for this part of the show. We’re going to do it, continue with this same program from January of 25 about the visa program, how stupid the people on the so-called mega movement were about it, didn’t understand that we need to keep up with the rest of the world when it comes to computer technology, and how when you have people making decisions about rocket science, and they’re not rocket scientists, you have a problem.
