UFO’s…Real? The Plain Truth… (Transcript)

This is Bob Barney with the Plain Truth Today broadcast with a show on UFOs. What is a UFO? Well, you know, scientifically, a UFO is any unidentified flying object. I do not in any way want to disparage anyone who saw a UFO and I’m not talking about the crackpots out there. There are a lot of crackpots for sure however, I’m talking about the people who have seen UFOs and who just can’t explain what they saw. These are people who know it’s something that man didn’t make on this planet. This is a topic today that is in the news mainly because of Tucker Carlson, but also because of the Senate hearings and the Congressional hearings that are going on about it as well. I should say the actual military is admitting that they cannot explain UFO phenomena. 

I’m going to help you out and give you my idea on UFOs and I think I’m going to be right. 

I’m going to give you a small rendition of a UFO experience by a prophet of God that may surprise you, and then I’ll give you a little more information. This is from the Living Bible, not from The Plain Truth Bible. I wanted to use another Bible for this here.

(2:12) One day, late in June, when I was 30 years old, the heavens were suddenly open to me and I saw visions from God. I saw in this vision a great storm coming toward me from the north, driving before me in a huge cloud, glowing with fire, with a mass of fire inside that flashed continually, and in the fire, there was something that shone like polished brass. So, he’s seeing this thing coming at him, all aflame, and looked like metal and brass or something like that. Then from the center of the cloud, four strange forms appeared that looked like men, except they each had four faces and two pairs of wings. Their legs were like those of men, but their feet were cloven, like that of a calf, and they shone like burnished brass, and beneath each of their wings I could see human hands. The four living beings were joined wing to wing, and they flew straight forward and without turning, so they could just make all kinds of moves, go this way, left, right, straight back, up, down, and they never had to move their heads or anything.

Each had a face of a man in the front, with a lion’s face on the right side of the head, the face of an ox on the left side, and the face of an eagle on the back of the head. Each had two pairs of wings spreading out from the middle of its back. One pair stretched out and attached to the wings of the living beings on each side. Whenever their spirit went, they went, going straight forward without turning. Going up and down among them were other forms that glowed like bright coals of fire, like maybe exhaust from a rocket, something like that. The living beings departed to and fro as swift as lightning, meaning they could move at the speed of lightning or at the speed of light, basically. As I stared at all of this, I saw four wheels on the ground beneath them, one wheel belonging to the each. The wheels looked as if they were made of polished umber, and each wheel was constructed with a second wheel crosswise inside. If you know what a gyro is, a gyro reel, it’s a wheel that is like a round thing.

(4:44) Some chairs have this. You can go left, right, forward, backwards. It’s a wheel within a wheel. They could go in any of the four directions without having a face to face around and look. The four wheels had rims and spokes, and the rims were filled with the eyes around their edges, and that could be like eyes. He could have seen what we would say today when you see a big tire, for example, with all the lug nuts on it. Remember this. This is an important thing. This is being witnessed by a man almost 3,000 years ago, at least 20, I guess it would be 2,700 years ago, and he has never seen a jet aircraft. He’s never seen an airplane. He’s never seen a locomotive, for that matter, or a car. He’s never seen a rocket. He’s never seen anything that you and I have seen, and we can easily explain what we’re looking at. He’s seeing something he’s never seen, just like people looking at certain UFOs, and he’s trying to explain it in the language of his day. So he goes on to say, each being’s wings stretched straight out to touch the other wings, and each had two wings covering his body, and as they flew, their wings roared like that of waves against the shore.

You ever hear of getting next to a rocket, I mean a jet taking off, or some kind of a rocketing device? Well, it’s going to make this whoosh kind of a noise, and that’s what he’s hearing. That man, by the way, is Jesus Christ as God of the Old Testament, as Yahweh, as it’s called, or Jehovah is the modern English verb of that. You find this in the book of Ezekiel, the very first chapter, and it is a UFO experience for Ezekiel. What he was witnessing was the literal throne of God, which he could explain only in terms that his mind could even comprehend. It moved like a spacecraft would move. It was obviously larger than any rocket or any aircraft that we have today. This thing was massive, and it was what we would call a UFO, but of course, the Bible explains what it is, so we know it’s not a UFO. It is the actual throne of Jesus Christ as Lord of the Old Testament, who is appearing to Ezekiel, giving a message to him about the coming calamity of the house of Israel. Israel by the way was already in captivity for about a hundred years, and you should realize that because the book of Ezekiel—and I just get off my subject here—but the book of Ezekiel is really a prophecy for the United States of America, for England, and the English-speaking nations of the world. 

(6:41) We are lost Israel, and Israel, when the time Ezekiel was warning against Israel, it was already gone. It had already sinned, it had already been punished, and God has sent them into captivity for another 2,500 years—2,520 to be exact—before they would appear again as a people of the world. We did appear again as the people of the world, and that’s the United States of America, the English Commonwealth nations, the people who speak English, the people of the descendants of the tribe of Joseph, and Ezekiel was their prophet. Even though Ezekiel, a Jew, was living some hundred years after Israel was gone. So why was he prophesied against Israel that was not even in the area anymore? Because the entire book of Ezekiel is looking forward to the end time and to the millennium. People don’t understand that. But the entire book of Ezekiel has not yet happened. The prophecies are those prophecies that are going to affect Israel, which is America and England and the Commonwealth nations, and Judah, which we call Israel today. That is what the book of Ezekiel is all about.

I wanted to point out to you just one of many instances of what were UFOs in the Bible that you can read for yourself today and you can understand what they were. I also want to go on right now to explain this as well. There were many books in the past, the people that are atheists, the people who do not want to believe in God, especially they do not want to believe of the God of the Bible, that came out with a lot of things and they showed Bible passages that proved their point that we were visited by ancient alien astronauts.

(8:10) The biggest one I can think of in the 50s or 60s was von Donegan’s Chariots of the Gods. This is something you can do a search on and read the premise of Chariots of the Gods and see some of the pictures he shows you from around the world of UFO encounters by the ancients. We’re not talking about the Bible here, but he had some hieroglyphics and pictures from caves of people that look like spacemen, things that look like rocket ships and stuff like that. They were unexplained. Why would they be on the walls? Why did people 2,000 years ago draw things levitating into the sky that looked like a UFO? 

Here’s another example from the Bible of what is really around us that we do not see. You know, when you watch these Star Trek movies where they had this ability of their craft. This is all science fiction make believe, but I’m trying to make a point here. Where as big as their spacecraft is, they were always what they call cloaked, which means they were invisible to the naked eye. And they could uncloak themselves if they wanted to scare somebody, like in that movie. So the people that they were trying to scare could see this huge UFO in front of them, and then they would be scared. But for the most part, the entire time that they’re interreacting with the people of 1980, they’re staying under a cloaking where people cannot actually see the spacecraft.

(10:14) Well, God cloaks, too. Here is a passage from the Bible about cloaking and who is being cloaked this being your key to who are the UFOs, mainly, that you’re seeing today. We’ll get into that as well. But if you go to 2 Kings chapter, I believe, seven, no, chapter six, 2 Kings chapter six. We’re going to start with, I’m going to still stay in the Living Bible. It reads nice. We’re going to give a little story here of the prophet Elisha and a story you’re probably not too familiar with that is quite interesting about this idea of cloaking. It starts with 2 Kings chapter six. And that’s, I’m going to start with verse 14 again in the Living Bible. So one night, the king of Syria sent a great army with many chariots and horses to surround the city. When the prophet, meaning Elisha, servant got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses and chariots everywhere. They’re being surrounded is what that means. Alas, my master, what shall we do now? He cried to Elisha. And Elisha responded to him, don’t be afraid for our army is bigger than theirs. Well, this guy’s looking around and asks, where is our army? I don’t see anybody here. You’re trying to say our army is bigger than theirs. Then Elisha prayed. And he prayed this prayer, quote, Lord, open his eyes, uncloak his eyes and let him see, unquote, and the Lord opened the young man’s eyes so that he could see the horses of fire and the chariots of fire. Everywhere upon the mountain and in the skies. As the Syrian army advanced upon them, Elisha prayed, Lord, please make them blind. And He did. And the Lord did that and he became blind. 

The story here that’s very important to mention right now is about what Elisha prayed for and what happened. This guy is looking around, his aid, his orderly is looking around for this army that Elisha says is going to be there to save him from this massive Syrian army that’s ready to invade them. Then when he prayed to God for his eyes to be opened, he could see and all he saw were these giant angelic beings standing on the mountains around them, surrounding them all over the sky. Millions of angels with fiery swords drawn. That is who destroyed the Syrian army. They didn’t need one human hand. But the point being, that is an example of the cloaking of UFOs and the UFOs who in fact are angels of God.

Let’s discuss some of the other forms of UFOs. What could they be?

Hey, this is Bob Barney again and we’re back talking about UFOs and I wanted to get into another source of UFOs. We’ve seen it can be the Lord God, His throne can be a UFO, especially if you don’t understand what they would look like to the ancients. But there are some other things that can look like UFOs, which, by the way, to the ancient people, they didn’t think of spacecrafts or aliens from other planets like we do today. And why is that? Because we are a people that have spacecrafts of our own. We have rockets that launch us into space. We’ve landed on the moon. We’re planning on going to Mars. So we are familiar, only in the last 100 years, we are familiar with the idea of space travel. And because of that, we think, therefore, if we’re going to travel into space, then maybe people from other planets are going to travel back or to the Earth through space. And hence, we have our ideas of UFOs today that the ancient man did not have because he could not even comprehend a rocket ship that we see on TV take off, like the one that took off and landed and where it took off from, from Elon Musk at SpaceX.

Let me go into another version of what these people saw. Around the world, we see these kinds of winged creatures. Do we not? Do we not see the idea of horses with wings or the beast like described in Ezekiel? If we read in the book of Genesis, and I’m sticking with the Living Bible because it reads nice and easy to understand. I didn’t use my Bible for this because then people may say that I’m making it sound like how I want to make it sound for the program or something like that. So anyway, we go to Genesis chapter 3 and we’re going to see why people around the world show animals that have wings or lion’s heads or man’s heads on the body of a lion like the Sphinx in Egypt. Where did these mythical beasts come from in the minds of the ancient human beings that saw them? Or did they even see them? Well, the Bible says they did see them. Remember, we just saw what angels look like. They don’t look like little cherubs or little babies with wings like you see in all the Hallmark cards showing angelic beings. No, angels look like cattle. They look like oxen. They look like lions. They have eagle’s heads. They have wings. They look like monsters if you saw them, and they would be dreadful to look at; so dreadful you would never forget what you saw. Therefore, you would write it down and tell everybody about what you saw when you saw an angel of God. 

Then the Lord said, this is Genesis 3 starting with verse 22.

(18:21) Then the Lord said, now that the man has become as we are, you notice we because the Lord is talking to the Father. The Lord is Jesus Christ and the Father is God the Father and they make up the Godhead. Knowing good from evil, what if he eats from the fruit of the tree of life and lives forever? God’s worried about this. Now that man knows good and evil and he’s in the same shape as the devil, we don’t want him having eternal life because then he’s going to have eternal life in sin. We’ve got to find a plan. So the Lord God banished him, meaning Adam and Eve, forever from the Garden of Eden and sent him out to farm the ground from which he had been taken. Thus, God expelled him and placed mighty angels at the east of the Garden of Eden with flaming swords to guard the entrance to the tree of life. So there again, you have an example of these huge, who knows how tall, angelic beings protecting man from going back into the Garden of Eden. Here is another UFO of today. If you saw something like that today, you would think it’s some kind of an alien, some kind of a monster, something you can’t explain. You wouldn’t think it’s physical. You wouldn’t think it’s earthly. You know, you wouldn’t see these things that are spiritual in nature ever being a physical thing. So you would see it as either as some kind of a UFO, some kind of an alien, some kind of a net, some kind of a thing you can’t explain. Even today, you would not be able to explain what was at the Garden of Eden.

In my opinion, when you’re looking at the Sphinx and some of these other ancient, monster-like beings depicted in the ancient art, you are looking at their memories. These are the memories of what the Garden of Eden angels looked like with flaming swords for a thousand years, all the way up to when the flood happened. So, millions of people saw these angels at that time, in my opinion. So the last form of UFOs that are unexplainable, and we’re getting to the explainable UFOs at the very end of this program, are of course, the demons.

Remember, demons are fallen angels. They look like angels. 

They look like cattle, oxen, lions, eagle. They have the same kind of animal-looking looks that the angels of God have, because they were angels of God before they were turned into demons. Lucifer was an archangel like Michael or Gabriel before he was turned into Satan for his disobedience to God. He had tried to usurp God of His power and become an over-God and was kicked out of heaven for his efforts. So when the demons are running around the world, they are specially making sure certain people see them, however they want to transform themselves. Not only can they uncloak themselves and reveal themselves in their spirit being but they can also appear like anything they want to appear like. 

(21:55) For example, in regard to how they can appear…if you think that a spacecraft should be saucer-shaped, well, they can appear as a round flying saucer. Now, if you happen to think that a flying saucer should look like a cigar, like an airplane, a cigar-shaped, lo and behold, if that’s your belief and they want you to be deceived, you will physically see a UFO that looks like a cigar-shaped spacecraft. In conclusion, whatever you expect to see, you will see! Why? Because that’s what the power of the devil can do. The devil can transform himself into an angel of light and into a minister of God. This is what is called false Christianity.  He or his demons can look like a pig, they can look like a goat or a cow or a lion or a bear or a monster. A Bigfoot, for example, can be what a demon decides to look like, but they also could look like a spaceship. They also could look like whatever you think the day is that you expect to find, you will find, and that is you thinking about what it should look like and the devil knowing how to fool you. 

When you go back in history, before we had rocket ships, people really did not explain UFOs like they do today. They do not explain UFOs as saucer-like shapes until about 180 years ago, I think it was, after the Roswell incident. And why is that? Is it because these people are delusional, and they didn’t really see what they saw? Well, that’s sometimes the truth, and we’ll get into that at the very end of this show. But, also, Satan the devil and his demons are going to give you what you want to see or what you expect to see and fool you. That is why Christ is always warning the early Christians about and even warning us today about. We are to be on guard and not fall victim to another gospel, to a false gospel, or other people coming in His name saying that he is the Christ and deceiving many. It’s because the devil is the master of disguise and of deception and so are his demons. 

The majority of the real and unexplained UFOs are probably more like demons rather than like angels. 

They want to be seen.

They want to cause a panic and there’s a reason for that. 

God is going to come back like a UFO.

When you read all the stories, when you read Revelation, God is going to start looking like a little star in the sky at the end of the tribulation. This little star is going to get bigger and bigger, brighter and brighter, and eventually it’s going to be as big as the sun. Then it’s going to be bigger than the sun.

(24:22) At this time the Antichrist and the false prophets and all of the deceived people are going to look up to the sky and see this bright object coming, and they’re going to say it’s an invading UFO! They will proclaim that it will be aliens from other planets coming to destroy us and declare that we have to fight them. That is why all of the armies of the world gather at a place called Armageddon! It will be to fight this UFO from coming to earth and with alleged intent of conquering the earth. That UFO, of course, is none other than Jesus Christ and all of His angels coming as promised to deliver us from a world war and annihilation that would have destroyed the entire planet earth if it was not for the intervention of Jesus Christ and His return.

Now, briefly before the end of the show, what are the other types of UFOs? They’re a natural phenomenon…it is just that simple. Sometimes fog, sometimes lights bend in a desert environment where there’s waves of heat and lights bend and look like UFOs. There are a many natural phenomena, probably 75 to 90 percent of all UFO encounters that are not coming from people who are just nuts are actually coming from a natural phenomenon that people can’t explain. They see this light that bends or moves across the sky quickly. Well, that can be light being bent in a desert, especially by the heat waves coming up from the desert and by fog sometimes that bends the light and stuff like that. That’s how you can explain naturally the majority of the people who think they saw a UFO that are honest people, good people, and they’re not deceived people or crazy people. Now, there are those people who are, you know, absolute crazy nuts that belong in an insane asylum that make up things. These are the people that give you a false hope.

(26:10) I talked to a guy a long time ago when I was a teenager who worked where my father worked, who swore up and down that he was abducted by aliens…by little green Martians. You know, they were little green Martians because back in the 50s and 60s, the Flintstones started having this little green Martian on their show. Then it seemed everybody saw little green Martians and he was claiming he was abducted by these little green Martians yet escaped and he believed it…of course he was nuts. This grouping of crazies probably makes up a very small percentage of people. I think a lot of the people who watch and see UFOs are honest, sincere people that just cannot explain what they saw, much like Ezekiel in the Bible, in the first chapter of Ezekiel.

So, whenever we are seeing all of these reports and the Pentagon is showing you videos of UFOs, and I saw some of these videos and these spacecrafts are moving beyond the speed of sound, beyond the speed of light…we know they’re not earthly. We also know they’re real. They’re on film however they probably are the devil showing us what we want to see and to help make sure we do not connect them to the devil or God or the Bible. The intent of the devil is to think it is an invasion from outer space. Why? Because the devil knows there is going to be an invasion from outer space. That invasion has been prophesied for many years, longer than you and I’ve been around. It was prophesied by Jesus Christ himself when He said, I am coming back and will save us and this earth from itself. He said He will save us and this earth from the total destruction that would occur if Christ did not come back at the very end to establish His millennial kingdom and establish peace on earth, forevermore. 

Well, that is UFO’s strategy for today. That’s what’s going on.

Whether if you want to believe that or not it is my hope that you do believe it…however, make sure to research it yourself. Start looking at UFO’s as demons. Put that in the search engine. Also, UFO’s angels. UFO’s Ezekiel. Then start reading for yourself. Don’t just listen to what the newspapers and the television news tell you about what is real, because it’s probably not. God is real. The Bible is real. God’s word is real. Believe in that and you won’t go far off track.
