The Plain Truth is so Happy That You Have Been Enjoying Bob’s Broadcasts.
2000 years ago, a newscaster that we know of as Jesus Christ warned us about false Christianity. The warning was not against the devil but against false Christianity…about people who come in His name and deceive many.
Several years ago, a good friend of mine who knows that I believe in the Sabbath day, the law of God, that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and that He’s also the God of the Old Testament, asked me, what do you think would be the result if America was to adopt the Bible as well as what your belief of the Bible is? What if America chose to follow the law, and that we are to follow the Sabbath…and that we are to follow the Holy Days?
Hi, this is Bob Barney, and this is our 711 brief show. I want to talk about what would happen if the United States of America were to follow the law as put forth by God to the ancient Israelites.
If you listen to this show more regularly, you know that ancient Israel is made up of 13 tribes, two of which are from the tribe of Joseph named Ephraim and Manasseh.
You would also know that Manasseh is the identity today of the English people of Great Britain, and that Ephraim is the United States of America.
The 13th tribe of the house of Israel is also symbolized in America by the number 13. That is our identity. We are Ephraim of the Bible, and if you understand the blessing that Jacob who was renamed Israel by God himself after wrestling with Him, (that God was Jesus Christ by the way), Jacob blessed Joseph’s two sons. Thus, Joseph’s tribe was turned into two tribes. And he then said, let my name, Israel, be on these two lads. Wherever the nation of Ephraim is, or Manasseh, is the name Israel. So if America, who is Israel, lost Israel of your Bible, were to follow God’s laws, what would be the result? Well, I’m going to read from Leviticus chapter 26 and see what the results would be if we would only listen to God and follow His way instead of following pagan Christian religion that has nothing to do with Jesus Christ, the religion that was never followed by the apostles or the early church.
They didn’t follow Christmas either and they didn’t follow Easter…and they didn’t follow Sunday worship. They followed the holy days as were instructed for us in Leviticus, and they also followed the Sabbath day, but they knew that Christ was God of the Old Testament as well as the Lord and Savior. Verse 1, chapter 26 of Leviticus. This is from The Plain Truths Bible, which you can get from Amazon. You must have no idols. You must never worship carved images or shaped stones, for I am the Lord your God.
That Lord your God is Jesus Christ.
You must obey my Sabbath laws of rest and revere my tabernacle, for I am the Lord. If you obey all of my commandments, that’s all 10 commandments, by the way, including the Sabbath day commandments, this would be the blessing of America if we were just to follow them. So listen, I will give you regular rain, and the land will yield bumper crops every year, and the trees will be loaded with fruit long after the normal time of ripening. Grapes will still be ripening when the sowing time comes again. You shall eat your fill and live safely in your land, for I will give you peace, and you will go to sleep without fear.
There’ll be no terrorism, no worry about walking down the street and being butchered alive by some illegal alien.
You will chase your enemies, and they will die beneath your swords. Five of you will chase a hundred of them, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand of them. You will defeat all your enemies. I will look after you, and I will multiply you, and I will fulfill my covenant with you. You will have such surplus of crops that you won’t know what to do with them from harvest to harvest, and I will live among you and not despise you. I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be my people, for I am the Lord your God, Jesus Christ, who brought you out of the land of Egypt with the intention that you be slaves no longer. I have broken your chains, and I will make you walk with dignity. He goes on to say, if you reject my laws and my Sabbath day, this I will do to you. I’m not going to read the rest of it. We’re almost out of time, but I’m going to tell you what the rest of it says. Simply, if you don’t follow My laws, you don’t follow My ten commandments, and you don’t follow My Sabbath day, I will be against you. Five of your enemy will chase a hundred of you, and a hundred of your enemy will chase a thousand of you, and you will have terrorism in your land, and you will be afraid to walk down the streets. You will be afraid of disease and famine, which will ravish you, and you will also suffer from inflammation. That’s the word it’s used. Inflammation, which is the cause of all modern diseases today, from you name it, from heart disease to diabetes, which is the number one killer in America today, type 2 diabetes, and autoimmune issues all come from inflammation, which is a curse from God for not following God’s laws or his Sabbath days.
So what would be the result of America following the Sabbath day, following the holy days, which are Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Feast of Tabernacles, the Last Great Day, the Day of Atonement?
What would be the result in America if we could only live by the law of God and not reject it?
Well, you just read what would be the result, or I read to you what will be the result. We would have peace in our land, we would have bumper crops every year, we would feed the world, and we would live in peace, harmony, and joy, and never fear attack from anyone. Murders would be nil, our streets would be safe, and our God would be living amongst us, unlike what we’re living in today. All you have to see is what we’re living in today, and you realize we are under the curse that God gave to the people of Israel, which are the United States of America, and England, and its surrounding countries that are part of England. Just listen to what it says, and you can see that we are under that curse.
So that’s what would happen.
