CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO BOB BARNEY’S MIDDAY BROADCAST: Bob Barney: The Epstein Affair and Why it’s Not Going Away…God is Not Mocked

Hi, Bob Barney here with The Plain Truth today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com. And today’s whole day, we’re devoting to the Jeffrey Epstein affair with Maxwell and Donald Trump and company. And this morning, we had a very interesting show on by Tara Pomery. And she has been an investigative reporter into the Trump connection and the non-Trump connection, just in general, all about Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and just very terrible points to listen to when it came to Epstein and stuff like that.
But also including back in what they call the Trump bad boy years in the early 90s to the mid 90s, when he was with Epstein all the time, basically all the time. And we’re going to find out here, he even shared a girlfriend with Jeff Epstein. And that might’ve been the note on that birthday card that he’s denying that he wrote, though many people themselves don’t think so. Well, I’m going to play excerpts from an interview that he gave to, he, I should say Michael Wolff, who is an expert. He is a liberal type reporter. Just want to make that clear. And I don’t think he’s a Trump fan, but he has been generally recognized as a pretty good expert when it comes to all things Jeffrey Epstein. And he’s written books and he’s been on conservative shows. He’s been on liberal shows.
I do believe he’s bent to the left, but we got to listen to every side, but he has facts is pretty hard to dispute because he has the evidence to point out many of these facts. He’s got evidence that he can, he can show and demonstrate, and they’re in his books. So anyway, I’m going to play some excerpts from an interview that he had with this Joanna Coles lady. I’m not that familiar with her, but I guess she’s got a podcast and he talks about the panic that is actually going on right now in the white house. And I can tell you something right now. There is a general concern in this white house what’s going on because they thought they were going to easily put this Epstein thing to bed. They were going to have Pam Bondi coming out and say, there’s no there, there. And the MAGA people, the Trump people who don’t think Trump can do anything wrong and whatever he says they follow, oops, that is not happening with the Jeff Epstein affair. Epstein is a conspiracy theory. I believe most of this conspiracy theory about his death is true. I don’t believe he killed himself. I think his brother is right, but I also think a lot of it’s going to be overblown like all conspiracy theories.
I think there are going to be people implicated that really were not that bad off. But then again, after you listened to this morning’s program, and if you did not listen to this morning’s program, I highly recommend that you listen to it because you’re going to find out that anybody and everybody who had any connection with Jeffrey Epstein that either went to his mansion in New York or his Island or his house in West Palm Beach or many other places, there had to be some real clues that Jeffrey Epstein was not what maybe other people were trying to today portray him as being. He had pictures of nude girls all over his wall as art in his mansion in New York City, same thing in his West Palm Beach estate. So, and we’re talking about photographs. We’re not talking about paintings. We’re not talking about something from the middle ages, like that of a naked woman, you know, the Garden of Eden type. We’re talking about girls, 14, 15, 16, 17 years old, maybe older that just simply are naked. The other thing we’ve learned, we learned from this morning’s show was that there was many parties that everybody attended. I mean, the who’s who of New York attended. Donald Trump attended. Donald Trump attended some of these parties with his 15 year old daughter, Ivanka. This is what this Tara Pomeroy says. And the girls were, I don’t mean Ivanka and I don’t mean anybody, but these girls that were the aides or the go-to girls for Jeffrey Epstein, and we don’t know their ages. Some of them may be under age, maybe some were not, but they were topless. They were swimming naked in the swimming pool.
And Donald Trump brings his 15 year old daughter. So I do believe there is some problems here if you want to say so or not. And it also explains something I said back in the fall when I was saying to Christians, and I still believe this by the way, you got to vote. If you don’t vote, you’re still voting. And Donald Trump was still the lesser of two evils when you got Kamala Harris running or Joe Biden before that, or a Barack Obama. These people were evil and they destroy America. I don’t think Donald Trump wants to destroy America. He may do so with his tariffs, but I don’t think he intends to. I do think, however, and I mentioned this in the Friday wrap-up, that I think that Donald Trump is trying to get back money he lost and really the White House is for sale. I believe that with my whole being right now, and it’s going to take a lot to convince me that’s not the case because it is the case. You just take the two payoffs from ABC and CBS is $31 million. That payoff did not go to the government. That payoff went directly to Donald Trump. And you could say, well, they deserve to have to pay it. Why did they pay it? Because you’re going to hear in this broadcast, he sues all the time and he never wins one lawsuit. The minute it gets to court, the judge throws it out. He’s looking for headlines, but what he’s really looking for is blackmail. Sue a company that has business with the government or something that they really don’t want to be litigating and they will settle out of court and pay him money. It’s no different than the Jesse Jackson blackmail of the 1990s when he shook down NASCAR, Budweiser and so many other businesses. And Trump’s has a history of that. I’ve known that forever.
But again, I supported him in 2016, 2020 and 2024. And if I had to support him against Kamala Harris today, I would support him knowing that he’s a crook. And I think he is a crook. And that he’s not, I don’t think he was maybe in 2017, his net worth actually went down. But I can guarantee you when he leaves office in 2028, he’s going to have a net worth probably 10 times what it was going into office. There’s too much money flowing to the Trump organization from foreign countries and from media companies paying off when they really have another reason why they want to pay off.
But here’s the first thing I want you to hear from this interview about the White House concerned about what is going on with this Epstein thing.
You know, what are you hearing? What are you hearing from your sources? I mean, it’s full panic. I think people are genuinely, inside the White House, genuinely concerned about where we are. I mean, and I don’t think and I think they’re confused about it, because they don’t know. It’s not as if Donald Trump sits down and says, this is our exposure. He says he just denies, which is actually they call me to find out what I know. And so have any of them read the Epstein files? I mean, the documents that Pam Bondi said told the President that he was in? I don’t think so. I mean, I’m not, I’m not actually sure that that files in that coherent sense actually exist.
So right there, he’s kind of backing up Donald Trump’s story, and Pam Bondi’s story that there’s not really the files that some of the conspiracy people think there is. But I wanted to go on in this interview to some other things. And some of the bad boy years of Donald Trump, and that’s going to be followed by, believe it or not, maybe something about that birthday card that he’s denying. Maybe there’s a reason why he’s denying that birthday card, because there’s probably a little bit of a hint of scandal there.
So we know that inside the White House, they’re completely panicked about how to handle this. This is totally riled up the MAGA base. It’s not going away.
The attempt to deflect by creating, by using Tulsi Gabbard to talk about Barack Obama hasn’t worked. We’re recording this on Friday lunchtime.
Earlier this morning, the President on his way to Scotland said he had the power to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell, but he hadn’t yet thought about it. He also said that people should look at the former president of Harvard, Larry Summers, and other big private equity people who’d lived with Jeffrey Epstein, which Donald Trump certainly didn’t do. Well, I don’t know. I think it’s more that Trump and Epstein spent significantly more time in proximity.
And I wasn’t meaning that they didn’t live together. I was meaning Trump said that. Trump said he didn’t live with Epstein. Yes. But well, in the general sense, I mean, this is where MAGA has been hoisted too. So I just want to put in something here. One of the reasons that I think is not a very good excuse that the Fox and news people say is that, well, if Biden had these files and Trump’s all over them in dirty way, they would have used those against Donald Trump. And they said in 2016, if Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton had these files of Jeffrey Epstein, then they would have used them in the campaign against Donald Trump instead of making up this Russian collusion thing. But maybe they made up this Russian collusion thing because they knew maybe behavior of Donald Trump, that if they could start a false rumor, maybe other rumors would come to light because they themselves cannot bring up Jeffrey Epstein. Why? Bill Clinton’s all over them. Do you think Joe Biden’s not on them? Do you think all of Washington’s not on them? Do you think the top CEOs and billionaires of this company’s not all over those records or any investigation of Jeffrey Epstein? They couldn’t bring up Jeffrey Epstein, even if they had Donald Trump’s video of him doing something with a 13-year-old. Because there’s probably a video of Clinton getting his foot rubbed by a topless 14-year-old.
So there’s no way that they would bring up the Jeffrey Epstein thing with Donald Trump then or during the 2020 election or any other time thereafter, because there’s more Democrats probably involved in this and more just big MAGA donors involved in this scandal than there are Republicans or even Donald Trump. Which is to say, yeah, there are a lot of people. I mean, a formidable and eye-popping list of people who were around Jeffrey Epstein. This is absolutely true. But that hardly negates the fact that the person who spent the most time with Jeffrey Epstein, more than a decade of constant contact was Donald Trump. So that deflection, look over there, Larry Summers, is going to be difficult. And I think it just kind of brings it actually back to the fact that, yes, these guys spent time with them. And a lot of these people have been, have their reputations and careers have been damaged because of it. But no one has spent as much time as Trump. I was talking to someone, a White House person last night. And again, very, very worried. And it was a telling thing that they said, this person said, there’s always been a kind of fear of Trump’s, what he called Trump’s bad boy years. But then he said, but now the fear is that those bad boy years may have been far badder than we really appreciate and that they may be too bad for the MAGA people to tolerate. Letter that Donald Trump apparently wrote for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday and this idea that they shared a wonderful secret. What do you think he’s referring to? I think that he is referring to the, to the girlfriend that they shared at that point in time, 92, 93.So there was a, a woman. And as far as I know, she’s not underage, but who, who they, who they literally shared, who literally went back and forth between, between these two guys. And she went back and forth in the same bed with the two of them.
It was a threesome, or she was dating both of them separately. I, I, I don’t, I, I don’t know the, the mechanics. It’s probably not the case here, but anyway, it still seems pretty, pretty kind of Kennedy-ish. If you know what I’m getting at, when it comes to John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, their father, they did share girls, believe it or not. It is, you read the, I forgot, James Stewart, not the actor, but the author was a James Stewart, wrote a definitive biography of the Kennedys from the old man to John and to Bobby Kennedy. And the one thing they said about Bobby Kennedy, for example, he liked 12, 13, 14 year olds. And, and that is what’s in that book. You’re going to find as a politician and a, and a boss of my father’s, when he was at the Nestle company, he told him one time, Vic, don’t look up to anybody in politics. They should be looking up to you because most of them are sleazebags. And that is the case. And I said that Friday, don’t think that politicians in any ilk is anybody to look up to because they are not to look up to. They are, they’re, they’re usually pretty, pretty evil people. And going forward on this idea with this birthday note, how did that get to the wall street journal? And I think Mr. Wolf explains this quite generally because now we have this Maxine, I’m sorry, Maxwell looking for a pardon. And it was maybe from her people that sent it. The view within the white house is that this letter came to the wall street journal via the Maxwell side, the Maxwell family, the Maxwell family lawyers. Um, um, Glenn Maxwell’s brother has been very out front in defending his, um, his, his sister who was in jail for 20 years. So this is Ian Maxwell, who’s a well known figure in the London city. Exactly. So they, they inside the white house, they believe this came from, from the Maxwell side and they interpret this as a quote shot across the bow, which is to say that, um, Glenn Maxwell, who at this point in her life has nothing to lose. And she has nothing to lose and that’s for sure. And, uh, the next thing he talks about is why she’s doing what she’s doing because she has nothing to lose and she’s going to play pun intended her Trump card.
She flees down to Tallahassee, to the courtroom, to talk to Glenn Maxwell. Do we have any sense of what he said? We know the questioning went on. He’s back at it again today. Her lawyer, David Marcus, who she’s talking about here, just to, to inform you is that the person that, uh, second person in charge of, um, the DOJ went to interview Maxwell in prison, which is just something you do not do. It should be a prosecutor. It shouldn’t be the second person in command. It’s almost as bad when Trump was being tried in New York that the second in command of the DOJ under Biden resigned, went up to New York for a while and became the prosecutor of Trump there. We’re following the same lawfare, the same corruption, in my opinion, right now that we saw with Biden. I don’t see honestly a difference in the corruption between Biden, Obama, and this second Trump term. I don’t believe this was that bad in the first Trump term. I think the first Trump term, Trump was surrounded by people who would not do illegal things and, and people who would stand up to him and not allow themselves to be bullied. But now you just have a bunch of Fox News wannabe, uh, transplants into, um, the state department, the, well, the state department is Marco Rubio, but, uh, the defense department with Pete Hegseth and, and, uh, the FAA and stuff like that. It’s just, I’m telling you right now, there’s problems coming and these problems are not going to go away, but let’s go on with this. Who is a friend of Todd Blanche, uh, came out and said that Gillette. Oh, what I was going to say, Todd Blanche is the one that went to interview her. He’s second in the DOJ, but he was Trump’s personal lawyer in the Stormy Daniels affair.
You can’t make these things up. If this was Joe Biden, if this was Hillary Clinton, if this was Barack Obama, the people on the right, the people on Fox News would have them convicted and put in jail. And you know, if you’re honest with yourself, it’s the case. And that’s just not what’s happening here. Too many Republicans, too many Fox type people are trying to make excuses. And unless this gets, gets out, I don’t think even the MAGA people are going to stomach it much longer. And miraculously answered every question, honestly, and didn’t plead the fifth in any way. What are your thoughts about what’s going on there? I would imagine that she is, um, she is outlining what she has on the president of the United States. Um, and, um, they are evaluating how damaging that is and evaluating how credible what she has to say is. So they’re negotiating. Um, she is now putting her, um, um, uh, her goods on the table and, um, and you know, and then they’ll have to respond.
What are the, and, and so we go into the coverup territory, what are the inducements they might offer to keep her quiet? That’s, um, that might be what’s going on. I’m not sure, but you know, unless they become honest with the American people, which they have not been, um, they’re going to be more and more of these theories right or wrong because you, you’re, you’re acting guilty. And the question here is how about MAGA? How are they going to respond if Trump ends up pardoning this, this woman who he says, by the way, last week, he feels sorry for her because she’s been used. This woman enabled a pedophile to traffic young girls under age, even over age, but mainly underage into prostitution, destroyed their lives. One committed suicide 20, 30 years later, just last, last year. Um, and you don’t have, and you have sympathy for this woman. Well, I don’t have sympathy for her. I’ve said in the past, if these Johns don’t get outed and maybe prosecuted themselves, I think she’s a fall hit lady. And I do feel sorry for that, but not be not for what her actions are, but it’s not fair that she’s in jail without everybody else in jail that’s associated with what she enabled and that they took advantage of. But here’s, uh, uh, Michael Wilson, uh, idea. And I agree with it by the way about MAGA’s reaction. If she gets a pardon. Michael, if it turns out that Ghislaine Maxwell does have compromising material on the president and Todd Blanche advises Donald Trump to give her a pardon or commute her sentence in some way, what do you think the MAGA’s base, what is the MAGA base reaction? That’s going to be a major issue. It’s going to be a major issue. The choice that he will have to make is between protecting himself, um, or, and dealing with the base. Um, somehow he’s got to bring those two together. He’s got to get the base to recognize that, that, um, uh, that without him, there is no MAGA, but this is a complicated, really complicated trick. Can he pull that off? This is a complicated, really complicated trick.
Can he pull that off? I’m not sure. And where is JD Vance in all this? Hiding.
I think that was a pretty good and honest reaction. I said that a few weeks ago. I don’t think that, uh, JD Vance is very happy with what’s going on because I think he sees his, his future in politics and maybe as a president going down the drain. But here, we’re going to end up with this last part of this interview. I wanted you to hear about the lawsuit that Trump does against Murdoch and why Trump sues everybody.
Cause he don’t ever plan on going to court. He wants to settle out of court like Jesse Jackson did with his famous blackmail of the nineties. For Rupert Murdoch, who seems, I mean, the Wall Street Journal and conflicts of interest, uh, alert here, Emma Tucker, who’s the executive editor of the, uh, Wall Street Journal is a close personal friend of mine. She’s been doing a stellar job at the Wall Street Journal. But what do you think of, of Trump’s very aggressive, um, lawsuit against them? I mean, he’s suing them for libel. They banned them. Well, he says, well, he says he sues everybody. I mean, he says he sued the, the New York times and a number, a number of, a number of times. I mean, he’s settled with ABC and he settled with paramount, but. But we’ll, we’ll, we’ll draw a distinction though, because it’s important. It’s important here. This is Donald Trump’s playbook. You sue in it. And litigation for Donald Trump is not necessarily about, um, um, about winning in the, in, in, in court. It’s about a headline. It’s about, it’s about staking his, his virtue, moral claims. I am going to sue him. And he sued all his life. That’s what, that’s what he does. The fact that, um, that he is, he is that these lawsuits against media organizations by Donald Trump are routinely tossed, um, doesn’t make any difference. And, you know, because they have, they have two effects. They get the headline. I’m, uh, I’m a victim, I’m wounded. Um, and they send a chill to other organizations. He’s been in the last number of months, he’s settled with two major media organizations, ABC and CBS. These were, these were specious lawsuits that would have been dismissed.
Um, if, if, if these organizations had pursued them instead, they settled, they settled because, um, because their, their parent companies had other interests before the government. Um, they said this was a kind of, you know, let’s say it, it was a kind of bribe. Um, and in fact, the money, the settlements $15 million in one case, $16 million. Another case goes to Donald Trump, not to the government of the United States. Now, Rupert Murdoch, who has been doing this for more than 70 years, does not settle these kinds of lawsuits. And that’s an important thing. But I think Donald Trump just was looking for a headline. They go on to suggest that Rupert Murdoch is 94. He may die soon and everything goes into, uh, probate and his son, um, takes over who Donald Trump is, I guess, told people is a weakling. So Donald Trump thinks he gets the headline. And if Donald, if Murdoch stays alive, then they’ll settle out of court or they’ll just let it get thrown out of court. Or if, uh, Murdoch was to die during this litigation process, it’s going to take a year or two. Uh, then they may get a settlement anyway and get some more money. This is about money. And that has been what I’ve been saying a little bit until last Friday when I just came on glued and said, this is corruption. And I’m sorry to say that because I wanted to see this presidency, like the 2017, 18, 19 presidencies. I wanted to see this make America great again. I wanted to see us do the right things that the world would look up to us like they did in the Ronald Reagan years. And honestly, even in the Richard Nixon years and the John Kennedy years, especially in the Dwight David Eisenhower years, when we were loaning money to the world, we weren’t borrowing money from the world. We were the, the manufacturer and powerhouse of the world. We were the oil producing giant of the world. We were the inventive, inventive society of the world. We’re the ones that got to the moon first. We’re the ones that did space.
We’re the ones that did the computer chip. We’re the ones that did all of this stuff back in the fifties, sixties and early seventies. And Ronald Reagan brought it back in the eighties when we had this great tech revolution and a lot of had to do with the Donald Trump tax cuts that freed up investment money. And I’m telling you right now that this is what most of us, we saw the flaws in Donald Trump, but most of us thought we were going to get. We did not think we were going to get retribution. We did not think we were going to get a lot of bribery and payoffs. And that’s what I am seeing. And I’m sorry if there, I know a lot of people out there is going to disagree with me, but I wish you would take your blinders off and start reading the news. Like I always said about the Bible, read the words on the page of the Bible and you’re going to know what God really thinks. Don’t try to interpret the words on the paper, read them. Well, the same thing, read the news. And you don’t have to read American newspapers or television if you don’t trust them. And I don’t blame you for not trusting them. But when you read the papers in Europe, in Asia, in India, in the Middle East, the Jerusalem Post, you read all of this stuff around. And then you also look at facts that is reported on the web. Facts. I’m not talking about news opinions. I’m saying $31 million was paid to Donald Trump by ABC and CBS.
And why would that money get paid? Why didn’t they take it to court when it would have been thrown out? Most likely, they wouldn’t have paid more than that if they did take it to court and it was tried. I’m going tell you the reason why. The reason why was their parent companies had business with the United States government that was worth billions more than what they were going to pay in millions to Donald Trump as a bribe. And it was a bribe. That’s what it was. And they even admitted it.
Well, that’s what the show for today. We’re going to have another one tonight about the same topic afterwards. And I won’t get into that now because I’m about out of time. I do think we have to, the ones of us that really care about God, we have to think what God thinks about all of this. I do believe God kept Donald Trump alive. And I don’t think God is very happy with what’s going on around the world and how the world is looking at the United States of America and maybe our God. And that bothers me. And I hope it bothers you because if we do something about it and we let our representatives know, as I did last week to Jen Kagan’s from Virginia Beach, I let her know that I’m not happy with her, the Republican party or Donald Trump. And I voted for him since 2016. Let them know because they will panic. They’re panicking now in Washington over this scandal. They are. Be realistic. They are.
Well, until tomorrow, Bob Barney for the Plain Truth. And tomorrow will be all day long about the air crashes. So just to let you know that until tomorrow, Bob Barney for the Plain Truth today saying thank you for listening. I do appreciate you. Bye-bye.
