Hi, Bob Barney, and we’re going to get into a different type of news program today, and we might do this for a while, but I’m going to play some excerpts from the book of Ezekiel, and I’m going to try to show you how the book of Ezekiel really has to do with the United States of America today. And first of all, I said this in a previous broadcast, but Ezekiel is actually a prophet for the nation of Israel.

When Ezekiel lived, it was over a hundred years since Israel was already taken into captivity, and so when God told Ezekiel that he was going to be a prophet for the house of Israel, he was actually talking about a prophecy that would occur later in Israel’s existence, nearly towards the time of the end, or the great tribulation, and what would be the fate of Israel, which is the United States of America and the English-speaking peoples of the world.So, a little background on this. Ezekiel was a Jew from the tribe of Judah, or the nation of Judah, which is the modern-day Jews.

Jews do not have the right to the name Israel, they are the nation of Judah.And when you read the Old Testament, one can clearly see that there are sets of prophecies for Judah, and sets of prophecies for Israel, and the two are not the same.

All Jews may be part of Israel, but not all Israelites are Jews. There are many different nations that make up Israel.Jew is one of them, but there’s Denmark, there’s France, there’s the United States of America, there’s England. These are the tribes of Israel that were lost a hundred years or so before Ezekiel were given these visions. And when we go through some of Ezekiel, and if you can’t see a modern-day version of what’s going on here, that Ezekiel is actually talking to people of our day and beyond, and not the people of his day, you will not really understand what’s happening today, and what God has to say about it.So, we’re going to start, and I’m going to play an audio of it, I’m not going to read it, and it’s talking about the shepherds and the sheep of Israel. And think of the United States of America, and think of what’s going on now as you listen to this broadcast. The word of the Lord came to me, son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, this is what the sovereign Lord says, woe to the shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves.Should not shepherds take care of the flock? Well, I’m going to keep interrupting this, but the shepherds, of course, are our leaders. The leaders could be political leaders like presidents, and senators, and congressmen, or governors, or state legislative people, but the leaders are also, the shepherds are also the shepherds of the churches of God, and many of whom are false Christian shepherds of God, and you’re going to see this more and more, that they’re not speaking for God, even though they say they are, and the ramifications of what this implies, and again, in our day.

So let’s go on and listen to what he has to say about these shepherds.You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool, and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock. You have not strengthened the weak, or healed the sick, or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays, or searched for the lost.You have ruled them harshly and brutally, so they were scattered because there was no shepherd, and when they were scattered, they became food for all the wild animals. My sheep wandered over all the mountains, and on every high hill. They were scattered over the whole earth, and no one searched or looked for them.Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord. As surely as I live, declares the sovereign Lord, because my flock lacks a shepherd, and so has been plundered, and has become food for all the wild animals, and because my shepherds did not search for my flock, but cared for themselves, rather than for my flock. Therefore, oh shepherds, hear the word of the Lord.This is what the sovereign Lord says. I am against the shepherds, and will hold them accountable for my flock. I will remove them from tending the flock, so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves.I will rescue my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for So what God is saying here is our leaders are not worrying about us, the people.

They’re worried about themselves and their own gain.

We look at Congress today, and at first it was Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats who were using insider trading, which is legal, to make millions of dollars on the stock market, while Americans in their IRAs and 401ks constantly see their money disappear every time there’s a crash of the stock market.It seems like, especially when they’re about ready to retire, like what happened in 2008, and again in 2020, and I believe is going to happen really soon, maybe as soon as this fall. And what we are seeing here, in my opinion, and I’ve had quite a few shows on this of late, is I’m seeing what I believe God’s turning his face on this country, and against the leaders of this country, and both business leaders, political leaders, as well as religious leaders, who are lying to the people, robbing these people, and keeping us poor. The middle class and the lower class of America today have not had it this bad probably since the 1900s, the early 1900s, when Teddy Roosevelt came along and tried to even the playing field for the man and woman of this world, of this nation.

We all cheered when Donald Trump said he was going to try to make America great again, and he was going to stand up for the little guy, and he was going to stand up for the worker, and he was going to try to get businesses back here to the country, and he was going to use tariffs to do so, which I am not for, and we’ve talked about that, and we’re not going to get into this show. But at the same time, God has a problem when leaders really are just enriching themselves, and lying to the people, and keeping people poor. More and more of the middle class today, and the lower classes especially today, are living paycheck to paycheck, and are falling behind.You can listen to all the news you want, and all the business shows you want, that incomes are rising greater than the rate of inflation. That’s not the case.

When they’re taking the income statistics, they’re counting the upper 10-15%, who are doing quite well economically.But if you’re a person working for $15, $20, $25 an hour, you basically cannot survive in this mad inflation mess that we are in today. This inflation has been going on, not with Donald Trump, it’s continuing under Donald Trump, but it was really bad under Joe Biden. It was really bad under Barack Obama.It was bad under both Bill Clinton, and both Bushes. And for a while, under the Ronald Reagan days, we had a little reprieve, and the middle class and the lower class started doing better. And I will say, in the first administration of Donald Trump, probably the middle class and the lower classes did better than at any time in American history.

I do believe that.

I saw it for myself, and I saw it for my workers. And we had real positive wage growth and lower inflation under that first Trump administration.This time around, Donald Trump has decided he wants to be like a Democrat, and we already know what that brought us. It brings us inflation. If you want to know the price of inflation, all you really have to do is look at the price of gold.Gold has never gone up $1 in value. The reason gold was $800 25 years ago, and it’s $3,400 today, is because your dollar has been devalued just so tremendously, that if you’re a poor person or a struggling middle class person, you are seeing your savings, your investments, and your livelihood going away. It doesn’t take very long in American history to remember, in the 1950s and 1960s, one income could keep a family well above water, well above the rate of inflation.But that has not been the case where both husband and wife have to work, and they still can’t make ends meet because the dollar has just been devalued so much. 

Yesterday, and if this plays again in the future, I hope I can remember to put yesterday’s show up first, which was Peter Schiff was talking about the real answer to saving America’s economic woes is not lowering interest rates, which Donald Trump and the Republicans are trying to force the Fed to do, but would raise interest rates to a degree where the stock market would crash, housing values would crash, and the dollar would gain in value again like it used to. It would be a hard thing for many Americans to go through this, and no politician wants to see this happen, especially in off-year elections because they’re going to get wiped out. But it’s the plain truth that we are living off the future, and we do not have the money to pay for now and the future, and disaster is coming upon us because our shepherds, the leaders of our nation, businesses and religions, are teaching a doctrine of selfishness, get and not give, and the American people are going to pay the fiddler. Let’s go on and listen to more of Ezekiel 34. For this is what the Sovereign Lord says, I myself will search for my sheep and look after them.As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. This scattering, by the way, is yet to happen in this country.

This country is going to collapse.

I’ve been saying this for a long time now, and I know many people do not want to hear this message. They always want to think the United States is going to be on top, but we’re not on top right now.China is on top right now. Western Europe soon will be on top again. India, the third world, is coming up in their standard living at the cost of the American dollar and the American worker and the American people in general, and our savings are going to an all-time low, and we’re no longer the loaner of money to the world. We’re now the biggest borrower of money from the world, and that is going to lead to disaster. I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land.I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the sovereign Lord.I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. 

I will shepherd the flock with justice.”

So what God is saying here is that there is coming a time after our collapse that God himself, this is Jesus Christ speaking here, this is not God the Father talking in the Old Testament.It’s always Jesus Christ. He is the Lord of the Old Testament, that there is no good leader, and that eventually when he returns and sets up his kingdom on this earth, and remember, the gospel is just Old English for good news. The plain truth is a news site.We’re not a religious site, and the good news comes after a lot of bad news. The bad news, of course, we all know, the Great Tribulation and the evil one reigning throughout the world, and it’s starting to happen already, in my opinion, but the good news is that Christ is coming back to rescue us from what we are suffering today, and that’s… As for you, my flock, this is what the sovereign Lord says. I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats.Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? Must my flock feed on what you have trampled and drink what you have muddied with your feet? Therefore, this is what the sovereign Lord says to them.

See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep, because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns until you have driven them away. I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another. I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them. He will tend them and be their shepherd.Notice, by the way, we know that this prophecy is for the millennium, because David is not the shepherd over Israel or Judah or Israel as the modern-day Israel state. We are not in the millennium. This is a millennial promise of what is going to be the ultimate fate for all of us who depend on God’s mercy, love, and promises to fulfill, and that God will fulfill them, and he will be our shepherd, and things will change.No longer will our leaders be lining their pockets.

Jesus Christ does not need to line his pockets with money. Money is not going to be important to God, because God owns everything in the universe. All we do is what we have is we get from God, and God only requires 10% of it back for his purposes. It’s just a very good example of what’s going to happen in the future, but it’s not happening yet. I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the Lord have spoken. I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts, so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety. You know, one of the things you just have to know if you watch the news today is how many animals are attacking people across the United States. If you don’t think that’s a plague from God, it has nothing to do with global warming or all the nonsense that your leaders, your false shepherds, your crooked shepherds are telling you. This is a curse from God.

 I see even in the little town that I grew up in now, bears are running down main roads, going into people’s yards. There are coyotes in the land that there weren’t coyotes before. We’re seeing incidents in cities in California where wild mountain lions are attacking people, not in the forest, but in the streets, and bears as well. We are seeing not only a problem with our weather, not only a problem with disaster upon disaster in mass killings in schools and other places, we are also seeing animals no longer in fear of man and attacking man, something that God again is going to do away with. I will bless them and the places surrounding my hill. I will send down showers in season. There will be showers of blessing. The trees of the field will yield their fruit, and the ground will yield its crops. The people will be secure in their land. They will know that I am the Lord when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hands of those who enslave them. And I have said for a long time, we have been enslaved in this country to our government. We are slaves to the federal government.

When I see even the person that I supported for the presidency, Donald Trump, sending troops all over the place and taking over control and too many ever-Trumpers, and remember I had a show and an article long before I did these shows about ever-Trumpers sometimes are more dangerous than the never-Trumpers because they can’t see anything wrong that Donald Trump’s doing, even when he’s doing what the Democrats before him did that we used to, in the Trump camp, decry as being communism, socialism. And yet we’re buying into intel, we’re taking over cities, we’re not doing what we should be doing to lead by example and to take care of the flock. I believe personally Ronald Reagan was a person who saw America as a city on the hill and he tried to make Americans proud of themselves, to want to help themselves, to want to get off drugs. I’ve said it before, the drug problem in America has nothing to do with Mexico, has nothing to do with China supplying these drugs. It has to do with a decayed American morale of people wanting to do drugs. And if they want them, they’re going to get them or they’re going to make them, they’re going to do something. Even if it’s sniffing gasoline or solvents, they’re going to find a way to get high.

And that’s the moral decay of this country because we have become a lawless country and we’re lawless because our leaders are lawless.

Our business leaders break the law, our politicians continuously break the law, and our religious people teach that the law has been abolished by Christ on the cross. Nothing could be further from the truth and we are reaping the rewards of this sin. They will no longer be plundered by the nations, nor will wild animals devour them. They will live in safety and no one will make them afraid. We are being plundered by the nations around us. When Donald Trump says that the tariffs was in reaction to all of the nations of the world taking advantage of us, that is true. Everything he says is true. How he’s battling it is not the right way and there is no compassion. When you’re, like last week, when you arrest wild forest fighters because they are illegal aliens, but they’re fighting a wildfire in Washington state and you arrest them and deport them while they’re in the middle of fighting a fire, I don’t think you’re showing common sense, number one, and compassion, number two. I think what you’re doing is you are trying to put fear in heart of the people and fear is not how you lead.

I will provide for them a land renowned for its crops and they will no longer be victims of famine in the land or bear the scorn of the nations. Then they will know that I, the Lord their God, am with them and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the sovereign Lord. You, my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people and I am your God, declares the sovereign Lord. You, my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people and I am your God. Yes, we are to realize that all of these people being detained, arrested, deported, we’re not talking about the criminals here, we’re talking about people who came here illegally, that makes them technically a criminal, but we are not showing the compassion to the alien that is trying to live the American dream. That is not what we’re about, I’m sorry. I do not want to see us overrun by people that are criminals, and I do believe we needed to secure our borders and I think it is our leader’s fault, especially here, the Democrats who ran this country really basically for the last 40 years, their fault that all these people came here and there’s no room for all these people.

But at the same time, there are many jobs that Americans do not want to do that many of these people are doing and now they’re being deported. I’ve reported on many crops in California, Florida, Arizona, and Texas going to waste because no one will show up to pick them. We have a problem going on here. So now we’re going to go on to Ezekiel, I believe it’s chapter 36, starting in verse 22, and God is now talking about what Israel did to deserve this punishment and what we should be aware of. I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone. What does that mean? How did we profane the name of God in the nations we go? When the United States of America goes and gives aid to the rest of the world, that can be good. We are supposed to, and we used to in the former glory days of this country, help people around the world when they had earthquakes, they had famines, they had all kinds of disasters. It was the United States of America that came to the rescue and not most of the rest of the world. But then we became a debtor nation and now we can no longer do that. So we send our CIA and our military all over the world and we are on both sides of conflicts. We’re on both sides of the Ukraine-Russian war. We’re on both sides of the Hamas-Gaza-Israel war. We are on both sides of too many wars and we are to these other nations are saying, well, if these are the people of God, we don’t want anything to do with their God, and God does not pleased when that is the result.

Therefore say to the house of Israel, this is what the sovereign Lord says. It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone. I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the sovereign Lord, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes. For I will take you out of the nations. I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. You notice that God has a problem with this country and the people of Israel because what we have done is abolish God’s laws.

We only follow man’s laws that change with the whim where we have criminals being let out by our courts. We have no justice in the land. We have no leaders really worried about the common man and woman in this country. We are turning our back on God and what we have done is blaspheme God’s name and we have refused to follow his decrees, his laws, and the laws of the Ten Commandments. Really, what’s wrong with the Ten Commandments? And everyone says, well, nothing’s wrong with the Ten Commandments. Well, then why aren’t we following a Sabbath day in this country? Why do we follow Sunday? Why do we follow Easter? Why do we follow Christmas? You have an internet. Look up the origins of Christmas, the pagan origins of Easter.

Look up the name Easter.

It’s not opposite of Wester. It comes from Ishtar. It comes from the goddess Ishtar, whose son was Tammuz, who was killed and was raised from the dead, a false Christ. And that is what Easter is all about. In Ezekiel, I read this to you in a previous broadcast, in the eighth chapter of Ezekiel, shows you an Easter sunrise service and how God is so upset with it. The land I gave your forefathers, you will be my people and I will be your God. I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you. I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine.

Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices. I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the sovereign Lord. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, O house of Israel.

This is what the sovereign Lord says. On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns and the ruins will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. They will say, this land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden. And you know, for a long time, America was the garden of Eden for the whole world. There’s a reason why the whole world wanted to come in the 1800s and early 1900s to America, the land of promise, the land of opportunity, the land of endless prosperity. This was a gift of God. This was not a gift from our leaders. This was not even a gift from our forefathers. We are not the nation we are because we have this wonderful constitution written by man. 

No, we’re the nation we are because God unconditionally blessed us for a promise that he made to Abraham some 35, 4,000 years ago. That’s the real reason. And we as a people, even though we did follow Sunday and we did follow, well, not for a long time, for the most time of American history, we did not follow Christmas. But for the most part, we were following the false Christian religion, but the people doing so did it with a good heart. They did it as they believed it was the true God they were worried about.There was a time when the average American worried about what God thought they were doing, if it was good or bad, and they try to do good. And America, for a large part of its existence, always helped the underprivileged, always helped those people that needed our help. And it’s about time that we confess these sins that we have done for these last 40, 50 years and realize that there is a better way.The end of Israel is going to happen. We’re going to go into captivity, but it does not have to happen now. God always keeps warning us that we change our ways.

We have stories like the story of Jonah, when Jonah was told to go to Nineveh and tell them they were going to be destroyed. And when he did so, and he didn’t want to do so, and he ran away and got swallowed by the big fish. But when he ran away and ended up coming back and given that message to Nineveh, they repented and they changed their ways because they were afraid of God and they were not of Israel or of Judah. These were pagan people who understood the word of the Lord and listened and obeyed, and they were saved because of it. It’s very important that we realize that even as late as this now, if we as a people go and turn our faces to God and say, direct our paths and do the best we can with the knowledge we have, even if some of that knowledge is wrong, God will bless us. God will bless us for trying, but too many Americans don’t even care about trying.

We read in Revelation, there’s a time when God is punishing his people that they become even more stone-faced, even more saying, we will not obey. And even when they’re dying, you read this in the book of Revelation, even when they’re dying, they’re refusing to obey. God says in the books of Moses, a very telling example of his unconditional love, when he says, why do you want to die, O Israel? Obey me and live. God does not want us to die. God does not want us to suffer. God does not want to do what’s going to happen to us to us, but it is going to happen, but we can stop it.

Even at this time, we can at least stop it for a generation or two, if not forever. Prophecy does not have to come true if, as the people of Nineveh did, we turn from our evil ways, obey God, understand that God is in control of this nation, and will bless this nation if we ask God to do so. That is a promise, and that promise will never be broken if we just obey.

The Plain Truth’s message, this mission, is to tell our people, the people of God, the people of America, England, and the English-speaking worlds, as well as anyone who is a Christian. If you’re an African, an Indian, or Asian, or a Russian, or a European, if you are a true Christian devoted to God and his laws, God will rescue you if you go to him, and that’s the message of the plain truth. We need to change our direction, and we need to do so quickly. We need to practice what Jesus said, to turn the other cheek, to be kind, to be gentle, and to be forgiving, and to be loving to our neighbor. Love our neighbors.
