Hi, this is Bob Barney. It’s 711 short audio this morning for this broadcast, and it’s a special broadcast for me. So many people here may not be interested in today’s topic, and I understand it, but I’m interested. It’s a personal topic for me. What I like to start off by saying is this is my wife’s birthday. It’s her 65th birthday.I’ve actually known her now for a long time, since 1976 is when I first met her when she was a waitress, a 15-year-old waitress in a diner, and she was a cute little girl. And I knew her for quite a few years before we finally ever got married in 1981. So it is also, this year will be our 46th wedding anniversary. She’s the love of my life, and the company that we have is named after her. It’s not Bobco, as I tell people who think that I’m the boss. I said it’s named Tamco, after Tammy. And it’s my tribute to her, and I’m very happy because last year, as I’ve told people before, I think I’ve mentioned this, that our company has grown over the years. It’s been a long, hard struggle making our product, Tamco. Now we’re selling worldwide, and we have locations that we manufacture, not only here in Virginia, but we have manufacturing facilities in Italy and in China. We had to do that because tariffs have been a real main problem, and many people do not realize, but almost all paint resins are made in China. Hardly any are made in America because of the EPA, over the years, have basically chased them out of the country, and they’ve all moved to China. And so we had to put a plant there. My buyer of all these years, or my raw materials from there, has a large facility, and we decided last year to turn it into a paint plant as well with my formulas, and we’re making a lot of stuff there that we’re selling into Asia, into Africa, into the Middle East, Europe, and Australia soon. But anyway, that’s the reason I am happy to see Tamco label all over the world, honoring my wife, the love of my life, and I want to wish her a very happy birthday. It’s hard to believe that 50 years have gone by.It just seems, if you’re my age, one thing you will realize, and if you’re young, you may not realize it, but time goes by very quickly, and you look back over the 50 years, and I did so over the last four or five days, thinking about her birthday today, and just remembered how fast these 50 years have gone. She is the most important thing next to God in my life and my children and my three daughters that she bore me, and I want to wish her a very happy birthday, and I want to talk a little bit today about birthdays in general. I have people tell me again and again, and I want to point out this is not a religious site, yet we do talk a lot about the Bible and what the Bible has to say about the news, because the Bible actually is not only a history book and a book of how God talks to us and tells us how to live, but he also predicts the future, which is called prophecies, and those prophecies are going to be the headlines that you read in your newspapers or on TV in the future that yet have not occurred, and many of the things we talk about is preparing our listeners to things that are going to happen the Bible has already predicted. Many predictions that the Bible has, like I said, has not been fulfilled, and someday you may be watching ABC, CBS, or Fox News, or reading the New York Times, and you will hear of headlines that you just can’t believe when you hear them, but if you’ve been listening to the or reading what we have been doing for the last 18 years, you would know that when those headlines hit, you have been warned about them because God made these predictions, and God is not wrong. A lot of people like to separate their religious life going to church on Sunday, and maybe people actually know you’re supposed to go to church on the Sabbath day, which is our Saturday in the calendar, but they try to separate the religious life from their daily work life and their daily family life, but the truth of the matter is if you really follow God and what God wants you to do, your religion is your life. Your faith in God, Jesus Christ, and God the Father is really what your whole destiny is about, and your destiny to come after the resurrection of the dead is far greater than this life can ever give you, but to tell you the truth, when we had three girls growing up, three young girls, they were only 14 months apart, we didn’t follow Christmas, we didn’t follow Easter, we didn’t follow Halloween, and we gave up those celebrations because God told us we were supposed to, and I follow what God does, and we know the truth, or I should say the plain truth about those pagan holidays, and we never follow them, and so our children unfortunately miss out on a lot.We did have birthdays. I know like Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t want to believe in birthdays, but there’s, and because John the Baptist was beheaded on Salome’s birthday in the story of Herod and beheading of John the Baptist, but there’s nothing in the Bible against birthdays. How does people know how old they are unless they counted their birthdays, and so it’s a legitimate subject, and we gave our children very, very good birthdays over the years, and that was the only thing they really had, and the plain truth of the matter is God’s holidays celebrate godly things and not necessarily birthdays or personal things. They’re called feasts, and they are feasts, and there are joyous ones, and there are solemn ones, but to children growing up, they do go to school with kids that are celebrating all these other holidays, and so we did give them birthdays, and I see nothing wrong. Contrary to what, like I said, some people want to teach you, there’s nothing wrong with you celebrating birthdays, but this day, March 27th, my wife was born, and it’s a very important date for me because in my humble view, she saved my life. I’m the person that I am today because she has been my wife all these years, and she was the love of my life.I loved her long before she loved me, but she came to love me, and she’s been with me now all these years, and she has struggled when we struggled, and we struggled hard. Things did not come easy for us, and I just want to take a real brief show, the 7-Eleven show, this morning and wish my wife, Tammy Barney, a very, very happy birthday. She was a beautiful girl. She had a big following of suitors, and I finally won out, and I’m a very blessed man that I did. I love her with all my heart, so happy birthday, Tammy Barney. May God give you many, many, many more.I love you with all my heart. This is Bob Barney saying thank you.
