President Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to dramatically escalate his administration’s campaign against the International Criminal Court, with fresh sanctions that could severely hamper the Hague tribunal’s ability to function.
Under plans reported by The Wall Street Journal, the administration would prohibit most financial transactions involving the ICC after a six-to-seven-month grace period
Reuters independently reported the existence of the proposal but said it had not verified the Journal’s details.
