A collector I came across recently of rare books has two really special Bibles. One is a first edition King James Bible, over four centuries old having been printed in 1611. He also has a 200-year-old pocket Bible that has the Victorian style fore-edge paintings on not one side but two sides of this special book. His name is Reid N. Moon and is the owner of Moon’s Rare Books. To find him on social media, he goes by MoonsRareBooks. I have also included a video of a modern day fore-edge painter who shows you how it is done.
