SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Dozens of people were outside the “Trump house” in Escondido Monday morning after army veteran and Trump supporter Kerry Sheron passed away following an attack outside his home last week, his wife confirmed.
Sheron, 69, was left in critical condition on Wednesday after being beaten outside his Escondido home that is decorated in pro-Trump flags and signs. A bystander who tried to help was also injured in that attack. A 32-year-old man was found nearby and arrested.
Maria Sheron confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI that her husband died from his injuries Sunday night.
People have gathered outside the Escondido “Trump House” since the attack, with some seen dropping off flowers and flags on Monday.

Sheron was a passionate Trump supporter who was well known around town for rallying outside his house daily.
A GoFundMe has been created to support the Sheron family.
The man accused of attacking Sheron made his first court appearance on Friday where he pleaded not guilty. He is being held without bail.
We have reached out to the District Attorney’s office to see if the suspect would now be charged with murder, but we haven’t heard back yet as the courts are closed for Memorial Day.
