Bob Barney: My Take on the State of the Union Address

I just am sick of watching America go down the drain because of moronic Republicans. They simply are either traitors to this country or they are the most unexperienced, juvenile politicians to have ever led a majority party.

Several weeks ago, on one of my broadcasts that I called the Oddfather, I mentioned how it was my opinion that it is a mistake to allow ourselves to be convinced that Joe Biden is totally suffering from dementia. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe he is suffering from some form of mental deterioration, but no where’s near the extreme that is being presented by the Biden family and thus accepted by so many. I would go so far as to say that I believe he is feigning being out of touch as part of his strategy in order to protect himself from any indictment that could come down from the Hunter Biden corruption case. Considering this opinion, I also shared with others in recent days my prediction that the State of the Union address was going to present itself much different than his distractors thought it would. 

There is another reason why I believe that the Biden people want to make Joe Biden look off mentally…it absolutely lowers expectations about any poor performances that would normally hurt his chances of getting reelected. Think about this for a moment, if this is played out correctly, it could actually enhance his l chances of a reelection. As my listeners already know, I obtained my degree in political science at the University of Connecticut. I studied extensively the strategies in which campaign people use and I found this very interesting because I wanted to be a campaign manager at one time, hence the choosing of that as my major.  

Did you know there are strategies that campaign managers use to purposely lower the expectations of others and then come through with a better-than-expected outcome? This is a manipulative tactic that in the end reveals the original intent to do just that. 

I’ll give you an example in the sales and marketing world to prove this logical process. Let’s say you are going to get your car repaired and it’s a major repair. The shop, if they have been through proper marketing training, will give you a date that you can expect the job to be completed. The date that they give you is really them adding on four more days then they know it will take. The purpose is to lower the expectations, and this is done for several reasons: One is obvious as there may be something that goes wrong, the wrong part may arrive instead, or a mechanic may find another problem and may need those extra days to remedy the situation. The car owner is already aware that it is going to take two weeks instead of the 10 days which is the time frame the mechanic really knows it will take.

The second and most important reason why they add on the duration of time is because it helps with the customer satisfaction index. This is crucial to a dealership as they live by their CSI survey score in which each customer is pressed to complete after their car has been fixed. When the car owner is expecting to pick up their automobile on a Friday and then they can call you four days earlier saying on the other end of the line, “we have good news, your car was actually completed today, you can come and pick it up tonight!”, the consumer has a wow reaction and believes that they really worked hard on their car. In the end, they wind up thinking they got their car back four days earlier, not realizing it was the plan all along. 

Now, take that into the world of politics, if you set up the audience, in this case, the electorate, to have lower expectations than what you plan on delivering then when you actually exceed their expectations, you then have succeeded. You have now convinced the audience that their candidate is much more aware than they have been led to believe by the opposing side. This is basic psychology here. You make the voter think, “Obviously Joe Biden is not as bad as all his detractors have said so maybe it’s all a lie and he is not suffering from dementia at all…”. CASE IN POINT at Thursday night’s performance by Biden himself. If you witnessed this firsthand, you saw a different Joe Biden, didn’t you?  

I had specifically warned my wife and others around me to expect a better than anticipated longer speech without many mistakes by Joe Biden. I think most people did not agree with my assertion but if I may say so myself, I was correct. This is a long-known strategy of political scientists, that campaign managers had learned these strategies in college just as I did, in how to lower expectations and then to surprise the intended audience with a better than believed performance.

In another broadcast, I had mentioned a condition that I have coined, The Republican Diet. This is when the Republicans begin eating each other (harming their own team!) and have basically handed over the 2024 election to the Democrats, who currently have the House. This self-destruction on one’s own party may even be at the sacrifice of the Senate; time will tell on this.  To me, it is either the Republicans who are on the Democratic payroll, doing their work disguised as Republicans, or they are just as stupid as the democrats seem to be.

 Last night, Marjorie Taylor Greene, whom I basically like, acted like a typical moron. Unfortunately, that just helps the Democrats prove to the vast center of America that people who support Donald Trump are like Muslim extremist tourists. I’m sorry if you’re mad at me for actually writing this thought that is in my mind, but you have to realize that the majority of Americans do not pay that much attention to politics. They have to worry about their jobs, feeding their family, paying their mortgages, and surviving in an economy that is in shambles. The attention span of the American is worth about 10 minutes of news. Ten minutes in the evening, and maybe they can squeak in another five in the morning before they go to work but that’s about it. Mainly they are not watching Fox News, Newsmax, or RAV, they are in fact watching CBS, NBC, ABC, etc. This means the information they are getting is so slanted against Republicans that Republicans need to have a very intentional strategy to counter the lying mainstream media; something they simply do not have.

Again, it’s either because the Republicans are so stupid and do not know what they are doing, or they are just in the pockets of Democrats. If it is the latter. it makes me wonder sometimes why they would choose a freshman, a female senator, to give the Republican response. This is at a time when the most important Senate race is “on”, and the Republicans could turn the House from Democrat to Republican! It is the Senate race in Arizona where you have the Republican candidate, a former newscaster, who is very at home in front of a camera by the way, who gave the Republican response. I am talking about Kari Lake, who is very conservative, who is also attractive, and someone who makes Donald J Trump look good! That’s a great “wow” combination!

If Donald Trump is to be elected, he has to win so many votes that the Democrats will not be able to steal the election. I believe right now Donald Trump would win any election IF it were held in an honest manner. So, yes, I do believe he won in 2020. However, the Democrat strategy is to cause the people to stay home that weren’t going to vote for the democrat anyways. They want them to stay home because they are so disgusted with the Republican party, like with how Marjorie Taylor Greene acted last night by showing no respect to the President of the United States…to be so turned off by the Republicans that they refuse to get up and vote. And when it comes to MTJ and disrespect, I am not talking about not showing respect to Joe Biden, this is about not showing respect of the office of the President of the United States. There is a certain decorum that must be shown in the halls of Congress. Those American’s that were horrified at her actions, should have been!

So, to sum up the strategies within politics, the Democratic strategy is to make Republicans look so out of touch with reality, and feeding off of those Republicans that are helping this cause, to make anyone who would have a vote against Biden, stay home.  If the Democrats can get the election within 3 or 4 percentage points, then they can steal the election with stuffing the ballots as they did in 2020…as they probably also did in 2012, and as they probably did in 2008. It is a known fact that amongst insiders who pay attention that on election day in every state, Trump won every state with the exceptions of two states: California and New York. Yes, I am suggesting that he did in fact win 48 or the 50 states but lost because of the mail in ballots. 

In conclusion, in the last two weeks during my broadcasts I have talked about the website jeramiah3227.com. I am wanting to share that website as it is asking people to fast and pray on June 14th for the fate of this country. This is my request of you, that you join in on this important, and possibly defining moment in our life right now as we move toward the 2024 Presidential election. I think it’s more important now than ever to go to God on that day and pray for this country because if we depend on these Republicans to win in 2024, we are doomed.

As the famous saying goes from the movie, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (Music from the Motion Picture), “morons, I have morons on my team…and I’m here to tell you we have morons on our team”. May God Almighty come to our rescue because there’s no Republican in the House or the Senate able to do the job.

This is my take on the state of the union address, and once again…we have the Republican’s, possibly snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
