You now get arrested if you litter in NYC?

The Plain Truth covered this story last week. Over 100 pizzerias alone could be shut down to city’s green rule: A Boston Type Tea Party is Happening in NYC with Pizza and Bagels – The Plain Truth

While most people would agree that wasting food is generally not the best way to make a point, there have been notable times in history where it’s been the only way to properly convey a message.

That is the stance of famous artist Scott LoBaido who is calling on his patriot friends to gather, a pizza in one hand and a dozen bagels in the other, to protest New York City Mayor Eric Adams and the climate crazies taking aim at the one thing NYC is famous for, other than extra large rats.

LoBaido and his fellow pizza lovers will gather at noon on March 20 in front of City Hall to “feed the pigeons” and remind the elected officials who is in charge. This is coming after news that the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) rule is expected to take effect on April 27, and will force “affected pizzeria owners to install a filter, then hire an engineer to regularly inspect the carbon emissions” according to Fox News. While the rule applies to eateries with stoves installed before May 2016, many people see this as an undue burden on already-struggling small restaurants.

“This regulation will go a long way to put an end to charming wood-fired pizza restaurants in New York City,” said pizzeria owner Paul Giannone, who has owned his shop for 14 years.

LoBaido isn’t going to take this sitting down, laying out his plan on X.

“I want all you pizzeria owners, I want all you bagel to be there,” he said. “We’re going to ‘feed the f***ing pigeons’ as I like to say. With tons of pizza and tons of bagels. Now, I know I got a lot of critics, ‘what are you wasting food for? What are you wasting pizza for?’ The Boston Tea Party, they wasted tea because they made a sacrifice to make a point that changed the course of history. And we’re gonna do the same thing here, come Wednesday, March 20th at noon.”

“Now, everybody I want you to bring two pizzas and a dozen bagels. Or two dozen bagels, everybody who’s coming,” LoBaido continues. “One pizza, we take slices and we throw them over the fence at City Hall to feed the pigeons. The other pizza, we’re gonna set up tables and we’re gonna feed the homeless, along with some bagels. So everyone wins.”

When he’s not arranging food fights on social media, LoBaido can be found painting beautiful renditions of the American flag in all kinds of scenes. He’s also created works of art centering around former President Donald Trump, former President Ronald Reagan and even Nancy Pelosi.
