Did you know God has His own calendar? It’s called the Feast Days of the Lord, and they hold powerful meanings connected to Jesus’ first and second comings.

Sadly, many Christians have missed out on these because over time, man-made calendars have replaced them however, these are not just “Jewish holidays”…they’re God’s appointed times for all who follow Him!

The spring feasts all point to Jesus’ first coming. Let’s go through them…

Passover represents Jesus as the sacrificial Lamb and just like the Passover lambs were sacrificed at 3 pm, Jesus died at the same time having fulfilled this feast.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread which symbolizes removing sin from our lives. Even as the people cleared the leaven (representing sin) from their homes, Jesus was in the grave, defeating sin for us.

The Feast of First Fruits…on the third day, when Jesus rose, He became the first fruits of resurrection, just as the priest waved the barley offering for a future harvest.

Shavuot, which is Pentecost, is when fifty days later, believers received the Holy Spirit, empowering them to live out God’s calling.

Each feast isn’t just history…it’s a prophetic lesson to grow our faith and teach our future generations.

Are you ready to align your life with God’s calendar?

We then have the fall Feasts which also all are pointing to Jesus’ Second Coming: They are: The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah): Known as a day of shouting and trumpet blasts, it represents the future return of Jesus, announced with a trumpet (1 Thessalonians 4:16). Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur): A solemn day of repentance, symbolizing the final judgment and Jesus’ role as our High Priest (Hebrews 9:11-12). Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot): Celebrates God dwelling with His people, pointing to the future when Jesus reigns on Earth (Zechariah 14:16; John 1:14).
