‘Stay out of our homes you power hungry creep’

Far-left Democrat Governor Maura Healey is pushing a shocking new proposal that would expand state-funded home visits to the house of every single newborn baby born in the state.
Under the guise of “maternal healthcare” and mental health support, Healey wants government-appointed healthcare providers to physically enter the homes of parents to conduct “assessments” on families.
On Boston Public Radio, after pitching her postpartum package, Healey said this:
According to official state announcements, Governor Healey is demanding taxpayers fund a massive $2 million expansion of the state’s “Welcome Family” initiative.
According to the announcement, a maternal and child health nurse will check the parent and the newborn, talk feeding and sleep, screen for depression and other mental health concerns, ask about support at home, and, this part is on the state’s own family handout, discuss “ensuring that your home is safe.” Then someone from the program calls back two to three weeks later to see whether the family used the “resources.”
