Downfall: Watergate Legend Caught in Lie
CNN’s Carl Bernstein, the man made co-famous through his historic Watergate reporting, lied to us — to all of us. And he is now engaged in a cover up to protect this lie.
It has always been amusing to me how many Republicans, and conservatives are still willing to accept the 'facts' that the liberal Washington Post's Bob Woodward gave us about Watergate in his reporting back in the 1970's. His reporting was a total lie. Lies based upon lies, proven by made up persons who told lies. Could you imagine if a Fox News reporter had a source that they refused to give the name to Roger Ailes (Fox Ndews' boss), and yet they started running stories how Obama was secretly plotting the overthrow of America by Muslims. Yes, 65% of Americans today would believe it, but would the left accept such reporting, even if that Fox reporter insisted it was one of the highest level members of the White House who wanted to stay forever anomymous.
