Joe Biden’s press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, is coming under heavy fire for her comments indicating the U.S. troops killed in a drone attack in Jordan near the Syrian border “were fighting on behalf of this administration.”

Her comments came Monday morning on MSNBC, as she reacted to the tragedy: “What I will say, our deepest, obviously our deepest condolences go out, and our heartfelt condolences go out to the families who lost three folks who are military folks who are brave who are always fighting, who were fighting on behalf of this administration, of the American people more so, more importantly …”

Her comments were torched by actor and political activists James Woods, who said on X:

“This ditzy dame is utterly repulsive on a daily basis, but for her to promote the notion that our fallen warriors were ‘fighting on behalf of this administration’ is a new low I never imagined even she could sink to.

“Side note: she’s even more repulsive in the sunlight.”

Others reacting to Jean-Pierre’s remarks noted:

“They’re fighting for our country not for any administration … Wtf is wrong with her?”

“I guess our military fights for the Regime now, and not for our nation and her people. These aren’t merely slips of the tongue, they are actually letting you know what’s really going on. America is under attack and it’s not from abroad, it’s from within.

“Repulsive is an understatement.”

“Maybe she meant ‘died because of the Administration.’ She is slightly touched.”

“And she couldn’t even bring herself to say the word soldier! Just disgusting!”
