The History channel's Madhouse series might be
history.
Bowman Gray Stadium's season opener is less than a week away and Gray
Garrison, the promoter for racing at the stadium, said that he still
hasn't heard if there are plans for a second season.
The first season of Madhouse, a "reality" show that followed a
few of the stadium's Modified drivers and teams through the 2009 racing
season, ended last Sunday. Given the fast-approaching start of a new
racing season, and the fact that no arrangements have been made,
Garrison is assuming the show won't be renewed.
"I have no idea," Garrison said. "The last we talked to them they
said they would try to notify us in the March timeframe and of course
that's come and gone. To my knowledge, right now, they are not coming
back. Last year, in terms of logistics, it took them two or three weeks
to get set up…. We're not anticipating them coming back at this point." MORE>>>>>
