Volodymyr Zelensky has today vowed that Ukraine will be rebuilt 'street by street' using Russian reparations after the country survived another night of attacks by Putin's men, with an adviser claiming that Kyiv's troops are now ready to go on the counter-attack. The Ukrainian President, in a defiant morning address to his people, claimed that 'all lines of defence' held overnight despite the cities of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy and Mykolaiv coming under Russian bombardment. He even went so far as to suggest Kherson, where Russian troops stormed the local government overnight, continues to resist. He went on to claim that 9,000 Russian troops have now died in the assault while praising his 'heroic' soldiers for their defence of the country. A short time later, Ukrainian forces claimed to have liberated Bucha, a suburb of Kyiv that had come under heavy attack by Putin's men in recent days.
