Lauding of FDR’s so-called ‘4 Freedoms’ riles up social media

The group in charge of this year’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday have angered many online by highlighting the so-called “Four Freedoms” touted by President Franklin Roosevelt.

Not the Bee points out that the third of the four ideals, “freedom from want,” is straight out of the Marxist/communist handbook.

Here is the X post from the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission that has people up in arms:

Besides “freedom from want,” the others are freedom of worship, freedom of speech and freedom from fear.

Notes NTB: “Yes, the ‘freedom from want’ … is pulled straight out of Soviet propaganda. …
