The Plain Truth
Donald Trump ran for office against the Bush doctrine of regime change and being the world's policeman. However, last night, Trump decided that some Bush tactics is what was needed. What does this mean for the Trump administration, and for the future of US foreign policy? Unfortunately those that blindly follow Trump no matter what he does, now supports Bushism. This writer does not. If last night's air raid was to send a message to the world, especially China and North Korea, then I agree with the strategy. If it is, as the president said it was, to stop the killing of babies, and to fallicitate regime change, then we have problems coming! If we are worried about babies, how about the 90,000 Christians killed each year – many women and children! Christians are the most persecuted group in world for second year, yet we don't lift a hand to defend them, but we care more about 89 Muslims, who most of them hate our guts more than Assad does! The insanity of protecting our enemies, while allowing the innocents of this world to be slaughtered staggers my imagination. We know what happens to Muslim children who grow up in the Middle East – they kill those who are like us. Christian children do not grow up the same. I don't see Christian's anywhere fleeing tyranny and becoming terrorist.
The DEEP STATE, as it is now called, is a large military industrial complex that absolutely loves war and globalism. It is made up of the media, the military, Big Government and BIG BUSINESS. It cares NOTHING about you and me. This is what Donald Trump ran against and successfully won with. If he continues to Bushism, attacking the conservatives in Congress which stood by him, and not following through with his promises, READ MY LIPS (or pen) DONALD TRUMP WILL BE RICHARD NIXON ON STEROIDS!
All presidents find themselves battling world problems which ends up dominating the news, as domestic issues are ignored. President Johnson went into office as the most publicly supported president to ever enter the White House, only to allow Viet Nam to destroy his presidency. Dwight Eisenhower, and Ronald rReagan were the exceptions to this. Eisenhower smartly kept this nation at peace, while building up our infrastructure as never before. Ronald Reagan began, like Trump to get involved in the Middle East until the bombing of the marine barracks in Beruit, Lebabnon. Reagan quickly saw the quackier that would follow if he continued listening to the hawks, and quickly changed direction back to America First. Trump better do the same.
There is evil in the world. Remember the Bible tells us that the god of this world is Satan. The world is Satan's kingdom, and we must be careful not to be ensnared in Satan's traps.
