President Donald Trump has launched a vicious attack on Republican senators standing in the way of his historic Big Beautiful Bill, comparing his party’s failures to the unity of the Democrats.

In a rare moment of praise for Democrats, Trump lamented the Republican party‘s inability to vote together to push his ambitious agenda through.

‘Republicans must remember that they are fighting against a very evil, corrupt and, in many ways, incompetent (Policywise!) group of people,’ Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday night.

The one thing they do have is an ability to stick together, and vote as one group (They don’t have GRANDSTANDERS!).

‘They also have House and Senate Rules that give Great Power to their Leaders – Committee Chairmanships, etc. Republicans don’t have that, have never been able to get it, BUT THEY SHOULD!’

His comments came as the Senate is locked in a tense vote tonight over Trump’s landmark legislation after the administration cut several deals and made amendments to the mammoth package in an effort to get it greenlit.

As the vote, which was expected to last just 15 minutes at 7.30pm, dragged into a fourth hour, Vice President JD Vance rushed to the Capitol amid fears his vote would be needed as a tiebreaker.

Trump needs the votes of conservative Republicans Rick Scott of Florida, Mike Lee of Utah, and Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming to get the numbers he needs to proceed.

The tense deliberation sparked an outburst from Trump, targeting Republican Senator Thom Tillis after he formally railed against his party to vote ‘No.’

Trump wrote on Truth Social: ‘He loves China made windmills that will cost a fortune, ruin the landscape, and produce the most expensive Energy on Earth.

‘I can’t believe that the Great People of North Carolina, a State that I love and won all three times … allow one of their Senators to GRANDSTAND in order to get some publicity for himself.’

Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Rand Paul of Kentucky have also already voted against it.

Former First Buddy Elon Musk savaged the amendments earlier on Saturday, warning: ‘The latest Senate draft bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country.’
