Most of the country has never experienced local racing, especially of the caliber of what goes on at Bowman Gray every Saturday night in the summer. Come to think about it, most of those that go to local racing haven't truly experienced local racing on the scale of Bowman Gray either! The show, packed full of spectacle and action, is making "Madhouse" a hit everywhere, including on our sister site RaceRap where well over 10,000 people have read the messages about the program. Here is a dose of newspaper coverage:

As Chris Fleming’s phone buzzes with the anticipation of curious
friends and family members, he can’t tell anyone anything about The
History Channel’s “Madhouse” not because he has been sworn to secrecy,
but because he hasn’t been granted any special privileges to the
footage — even though he is one of the show’s stars.
Chris
Fleming and his sons Luke, 22, and Jordan, 17, will be featured in the
show that filmed over this past season at Bowman Gray Stadium. However,
they have yet to see anything more than what the History Channel has
released to the public. MORE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

any time you have a child brought into a sport
thads had every thing handed to them ,, you have
things like you saw on mad house ,, but the truths the truth.. one man thats had to work all his life
to be able to do what he loves ,then a child brought
in by a wealthly family,, just look at the burt myers
shop and trailer nothing short of a nationwideteam.
then the guys who work on there cars and use what little resourses the can get .. i noticed that burt dosent have a job he baby sits ?oh well do the math no wonder he cant take it when he slows down on the track and someone has to move him,, oh yea i think the myers family arethe ones who ran tricounty speedway into the ground and allso had elkins nice pavent covered up,, i love it,
I’m a Burt Myers fan, simply because I believe he has talent….and I think Junior Miller is a sneaky vengeful character…But, in all honesty, when Burt throws his temper tantrums and voices his anger outloud, he loses his credibility. He would be more effective if he would just race clean, stand up for what is right when he is racing, but just be quieter about it..Otherwise, his ongoing vengeful attitude starts to come across as immature…Junior has already learned this tactic, if nothing else. Move on, and go to the next race not with a vengeance in mind, but an honest clean win…If Burt could back up clean racing with sombering silence, he’d surpass Junior easily in every way…….then Junior would really look the “fool”…..
Chris Fleming as an underdog, is easiest to like because of his humble circumstances and desire to race and without any of the politics…I’m a Burt Myers fan, simply because I believe he has talent….and I think Junior Miller is a sneaky vengeful character…But, in all honesty, when Burt throws his temper tantrums and voices his anger outloud, he loses his credibility.
