Early Saturday evening, Sue Krentz, the widow of murdered Arizona rancher Robert Krentz was run over by a drunk driver, as she and a friend were leaving mass at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Douglas.

Mrs. Krentz was hit by a car driven by Ramon Parra Saucedo and the impact propelled her 30 feet from the wreck. She suffered a broken pelvis, serious head injuries and internal bleeding. She was airlifted to University Medical Center in Tucson, where she remains in critical condition.

Mrs. Krentz who required several blood transfusions is now reportedly conscious.

According to Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever, Saucedo has been charged with DUI, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of endangerment. He is being held in the Cochise County Jail.  MORE
