Wife of slain civil-rights leader also says honoring the Sabbath ‘does not have to be on a specific day’

As Erika Kirk publicizes her husband Charlie’s best-selling book championing the need for people to have a Sabbath rest, the wife of the slain civil-rights leader says Satan “would have loved” if Charlie had “burned out.”
Appearing on “Outnumbered” Wednesday on the Fox News Channel, Erika Kirk said of Charlie: “He knew this life was not about him and that’s why he spoke so boldly and so passionately challenging people’s ideas. Because he said I have the truth, I know it.
“And he wanted to be able to have the Lord use him, and if he didn’t take a moment to rest, he would have burned out, which the enemy would have loved. He would not have been able to share the message and the Gospel.”
