‘Why wasn’t there a breakdown for Rachel Nungary, Rachel Morin, or Laken Riley? I guess those Americans weren’t your people?’

Hollywood’s Selena Gomez on Monday posted – and then deleted – a video of herself on Instagram sobbing uncontrollably as she reacts to President Donald Trump’s deportations of criminal illegal aliens.
“I just want to say that I’m so sorry,” Gomez, 32, says through tears, with a Mexican flag emoji visible.
“All my people are getting attacked. The children, they don’t understand.
“I’m so sorry I wish I could do something, but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise.”
Facing apparent backlash, she later shared another message on her Instagram Story, writing, “Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people.”
