Forward by Bob Barney: If you’ve listened to my podcasts, you’ll know that I’ve long been critical of Fox News. I’ve seen through the network’s hypocrisy for quite some time. When you consider that someone like Paul Ryan a former Republican Vice-Presidential candidate is serving as a director and executive there, it becomes clearer why Fox often reflects an anti-Trump sentiment, much like the mainstream media it claims to oppose.
Yes, the network features a few personalities who support Donald Trump or are friendly with him personally. However, as an institution, Fox News largely aligns with what I refer to as the “Never-Trumper” camp. The problem is, they don’t openly acknowledge this stance. Instead, they are dishonest and they mask it by deceiving their viewers with a facade of neutrality or support.
It’s no coincidence that many viewers are turning to alternatives like Newsmax, NewsNation, or even RAV TV. More and more people are beginning to see Fox News for what it really is.
Now, to be clear, I’ve criticized Donald Trump when I’ve believed he was in the wrong alongside many others who share that view. But that does not make me a “Never-Trumper.” There’s a difference between holding someone accountable and working actively against them.
Unfortunately, those within Fox News who are true Never-Trumpers are often the ones making the decisions. And sadly, many others who might know better remain silent choosing job security over journalistic integrity.
