Forward by Jennifer Rae Vliet ~ I have had the honor of working for and with Look Ahead America focusing on Election Integrity as well as the January 6 political prisoners. We are living in such a sad state with DJT being added to such a list. He, however, takes these “Slings and arrows” for us and wears this as a badge of honor, I am sure. Matt Braynard, the founder of this grassroots organization, has led an incredible team of leaders across this country and a very hard diligent research team that jumped into action minute one after the 2020 election to clean up the voter roles and more.

Look Ahead America, a conservative advocacy group that supports the civil rights of rioters from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, has added former President Donald Trump to its Jan. 6 Political Prisoner Database, the group announced Thursday.

The classification occurred as a result of the former president being indicted by a Washington, D.C., grand jury on Tuesday, and the announcement came ahead of his arraignment Thursday afternoon.
“Given the specious claims and prosecutorial abuse from our government that we’ve seen so far, I have to say I’m sadly not surprised that President Trump earned the distinction of joining the over 1,000 other political prisoners we’ve documented,” Look Ahead America Founder and former Trump campaign staffer Matt Braynard told the Washington Examiner.
“From the very beginning, when we first sent a letter to the Department of Justice and FBI in January of 2021 urging them to drop all charges against nonviolent offenders, it’s been clear that this has been a political persecution that operates not by the rule of law but by the rule of a tyrant, which means no rules at all,” he added.
The organization originally began as a conservative political advocacy group that sought to increase blue-collar and rural workers’ participation in local and national elections, but it expanded to include resources for Jan. 6 rioters in 2021. Resources include a podcast from Jan. 6 rioters, a database of the over 1,000 prisoners, and a platform to help the Jan. 6 rioters find jobs after completing their sentences.
Braynard touted the Jan. 6 database as being the “only one of its kind that has been compiled and maintained with up-to-date information about those that have been targeted by the Department of Justice.” The nonprofit group also keeps tabs on Republican presidential candidates’ positions regarding the Capitol riot.
